DEMS AND GOP SPLIT ON FAVORITE TV FARE By DON KAPLAN
POLITICAL humor does come in two varieties: Republican and Democratic. Want proof? A new study says Bush supporters prefer Everybody Loves Raymond and Kerry people tune in to Will & Grace. Results of the survey by the media planning firm Initiative could end up being used to decide where political campaign ads will be placed.
The survey quizzed Democrats, Republicans and undecided voters on what their favorite shows were.

I would have guessed "Ellen" since most libs are gaybos themselves.
Or,
the Queer Eye fruitcake show.
I prefer "Action", with Jay Mohr.
How about this show?
This is an open invitation to ALL FReepers, veteran or not, Vietnam era or not. Please join us on September 12th as we tell the world that John Kerry was a liar and traitor then, just as he is a liar and traitor now
KERRY LIED . . . while good men died
A gathering of Vietnam veterans from across America
John Kerry told the world we were war criminals who raped, tortured and murdered in Vietnam. Now, thirty-three years later, we will tell America the truth.
Where: Upper Senate Park, Washington, D.C. It is easy to get to, shady and pretty, with a great view of the Capitol dome in back of the speaker's platform. THIS IS A NEW LOCATION AS OF 7/17/04
When: Sunday, Sept 12, 2004 2:00-4:00 PM (EDT)
Why: To tell the truth about Vietnam veterans and to counter the lies told about Vietnam veterans by John Kerry
All Vietnam veterans and their families and supporters are asked to attend. Other veterans are invited as honored guests.
If you are in DC on the 11th, look for the National March Against Terror.
In God We Trust
..Semper Fi!
The libs favorites are all the ones that we tune out.
Will and Grace was mildly amusing in its first few seasons if you could handle the overt sexuality of it... now its just a flipping waste of bandwidth.
Of course I think Everybody Loves Raymond is a horrible show as well. He and his wife obviously hate each other and watching him trying to get into her pants every other episode is a waste as well.
Your wife and I were just discussing this very thing last month when we were together. I guess we're "typical" Repubs!
Stay safe in DC!
If you don't like Will and Grace, you're obviously a raving homophobe. /sarc
I can't name a single sitcom that I can bear watching since Barney Miller. Seinfeld is funny sometimes but even that gets old really fast.
I don't know about *tune out*. It's a hugely popular show. The ratings for "Will and Grace" are only slightly lower than those for "Raymond."
The country's pretty well split down the middle - now we just need to attract the all-important swing "Scrubs" viewers.... ;)
I prefer Olympic Women's Beach Volleyball.
I hate Will and Grace with a passion and love, Everybody Loves Raymond with the same passion.
Dashle's supporters say it's "The Dead Zone."
Thanks for the Ping!
Mr. Inspectorette can't stand Raymond - says he's never seen a bigger wussy whiner in all his life. Petrified of his wife AND his battleaxe of a mother. He can't bear to watch the show. (Once in a while, though, if we're surfing through channels, and we hit on it and the Dad or Brother Robert are on, it's good for a chuckle).
It does not surprise me.. all the men on Will and Grace are weak.
Of course, everyone knows that we Libertarians prefer reality t.v.
Kerry supporters prefer watching girlie-men. That's news?
We haven't watched network television (other than rare sports or awards, etc, events) since 1988!
