Islam is an evil death cult that needs to be stamped out. It is incompatible with civilization, period.

My son told me about the picture of the bombed bus, does anyone know where to find a link to it?
When I worked in the news photos department of a major daily newspaper I used to spend my spare time perusing the AP picture wire. They move hundreds, often over a thousand, images a day. They move quite a few that are just too graphic for most papers. They always have a warning before the image is displayed that it's graphic. I used to collect the ones that showed injuries to the Jewish people from the suicide bombings. Unbelievable images. I can't put my hands on the right now, but I'll look around. After 9/11 they had a lot that were not for publication. I have one from 9/11 that is really sad, but very much a reminder of what we're up against. I don't want to post it here but will be happy to send a link to it for anyone that want's to view it. It's a hand, just a hand, in the street. We have GOT to remind Americans of what we're dealing with or they will simply go back to their day to day lives until the next event.

When the good guys fight, there is very little collateral damage (women, children, noncombatants). But what there is, is blasted across the world on everybody's front page.
When the terrorists fight, they actually target the women, children and noncombatants. But it's not emphasized in the papers. "Freedom Fighters stage attack, IDF responds with massive force, civilian casualties high."
I hate the media.

Yes, you are correct. It had been quite a while since I looked at it and I confused it with the photos from AP and AFP. Oops! Good catch, thanks!

I get the feeling that the Muslims want a war with everybody. Their PR campaign is working.

I hate the media. The one point that has been driven home to me during this election cycle is that most of the media is lying to me.
Not being biased, not misrepresenting things, not filtering the news, out right lying.

Yup. There was an article posted the other day by Ceci Connolly (Washington Post) which twisted economic numbers and statistics in a terrible way. I pointed out on the thread that I used to work with Ceci Connolly at a smaller newspaper. She is very bright. The way she misrepresented the economic numbers could only be done by a very dumb person, or a liar. And as I say, Ceci is very bright ...

YES!
can a billion people be wrong? Heck yeah! A billion Chinese were wrong about Communism.
There is no reason that Islam must go on forever, or even for another 20 years, except as an obscure cult.
If Scientology can (correctly) be branded a dangerous cult - we must ask if Islam is better, or worse?

If Scientology can (correctly) be branded a dangerous cult - we must ask if Islam is better, or worse? And if the Democrats considered a bunch of fundamantalists living on the prairie outside of Waco, Texas so dangerous that they sent tanks after them, why are they so protective of these Islamic cultists who have declared war on western civilization?
Speaking only for myself, I'm a hell of alot more worried about the Wahhabist mosques dotting our country than I ever was about the Branch Davidians...

And as I say, Ceci is very bright ... Yep. The technique the irritates me the most is to site a study of 12 people showing a linkage between Republicans and homelessness, or whatever, then say "and while correlation doesn't imply causation, blah, blah, blah, blah [ten minute justification of how Republicans cause homelessness]."
The people generating this kind of propaganda know damn well what they are doing, and just assume that I am too stupid to know also.
I tell my wife, whenever you hear the word "link", in a news report, look at the person who said it. He's is lying to you, and he knows it. If he didn't, he wouldn't have used that particular word.

Right on that one, too. Branch Davidians are heretical Seventh Day Adventists (i.e. Davidians). Oooooooo! Scary!

You must be a slow learner. (PLEASE excuse that personal attack!)
Or, more likely, you have an unrealistic belief that other people share the same values that you do.
Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but they don't!

Let's skip that and go to 'most likely.' Most likely your bulb is about burned out and won't ever be any brighter than a half-dead glow worm.

I don't want to lump all Muslims together! I am not sure I am qualified to make that judgment. What I want is for everyone on the planet to know HaShem!
I am NOT AT ALL SURE that the Muslims do NOT know Adonai, but I do think that many have been led astray!
