They've timed it perfectly, and Rove is a genius!

This is an understatement! On N.P.R. last night, Jim Leher was questioning a reporter afterwards and that reporter said that even the speeches were spaced so as not to let the networks have any time between the end of Laura Bush's speech and the nightly news.

Bush is extremely detailed and Rove is making sKerry's campaign look like Baghdad the morning after!!

I noticed this, too. Zell Miller speaks, Zell Miller finishes, and BOOM, Lynne Cheney is introducing Dick Cheney. No time for the Democrat media to go to their panels of leftists telling me how mean the Republicans are.

Except for NBC, they did it anyway. Since they had Miller's remarks in advance, Brokaw had ol' John McCain standing by to tell me how great John Kerry really is, and didn't bother to show the introduction to the Vice President. The contrast between Miller and McCain is striking. Miller tells you what he thinks, McCain plays statesman to his media audience. No matter what words he uses, I still get the feeling he'd rather see Kerry win.

Nevertheless, the timing of the speeches has been very good, and I believe intentional to give ABC,NBC,CBS no time to interject the DNC talking points.
