Professional protestors. .....most of whom haven't bathed since they disgarded their clothes and ran around in the rain at Woodstock (in '69).

I'm sad to admit that this is exactly how I ended up outside a Bush I rally protesting the war in central america during a rally on my college campus. I showed up, she was really cute, I was young and lacking in judgment. And no, I didn't get a date for all of that.

Fortunately, I'm recovered now. But in my years as a political protester for the loony left, it was not uncommon just to show up & protest something - more often than not because, after all, she was really hot.

There's nothing quite as persuasive as an angry protestor who is waiting to be told just what he's angry about. Core values for the coreless.

Not only have they not been told yet, it doesn't matter. They will protest anything.
Protest director: "You guys in Group A go protest the fact that Bush has the same first name as George McGovern. And you over there in Group B... you go protest that Bush prefers felt-tip pens over ball-points."

This is so amazing. All that passion and not a clue why. Neal Boortz (I think) asked a guy carrying a "NO DRAFT" sign if he knew that only the Democrats were talking about reinstating the draft. The guy replied "Hey they just handed me this sign over on 14th street". Damn, don't ANY of them have any actual values of their own???

Back in 1970, I was 15. I was stupid and stoned-out and perfectly manipulated by my teachers and the likes of John Kerry and his VVAW pals. At the time, longhaired soldiers who spoke of fragging gooks put me at attention to my upcoming draft status, and taking them at their word affected my view of the world and their idea of what America was.

John Kerry and his pals did a great deal of damage to my young mind. I can't do anything about it except trust that his karma will indeed catch up to him.

My first awakening to the rent a protester and/or mob was in Chicago at a House Committee on Un-American Activities,HUAC. The protesters carrying signs were students from Wisconsin and told me they came by bus and were paid so much per hour. They weren't interested in the fact that they were supporting communists or that a well known communist (whose name escapes me) of that time was egging them on via a bull horn. Inside at the hearings, the paid protesters were also directed by another communist who disrupted on cue. I suspect that these crowds are inflated by Soros money providing pay and transportation. Many of the rabble are of course just there for the entertainment and bragging about it later. This fight for our freedoms is never ending.
