You're right about that. Another bit of really good news -- the NYC Firefighters union is going to endorse President Bush tonight.

Great job E!

Al Hunt is Judy Woodruff's husband. "Al Hunt is the executive Washington editor of The Wall Street Journal". He's a flaming liberal all the time, but on the week-ends, he joins Mark Shields and Margaret Carlson on CNN's Capital Gang. Of late, Hunt has lost his mind, rabidly defending John Kerry. It would be fun to watch if Robert Novak and Kate O'Bierne offered any kind of balance. O'Bierne is too polite, Novak stutters too much, Hunt's angrey spews of misinformation often go unanswered.

Well, I'm back with a pulse check from my golf group. We had about 9 golfers today, ALL are watching this convention. On the nineteenth hole, when we got talking about last night, the one liberal in our group could do nothing but tear down Arnold. Meanwhile, everybody else LOVED him.

The discussion then went to Kerry's military service record, in which, one of the vets in our group (who grew up in a very Democrat family, and has voted on both sides for president over his life) proceeded to go into great detail about how he got his purple hearts. I was amazed with the detail that he knew about the story. Our liberal friend was still absolutely defensive, but near tears, over this. I've had many political discussions with this liberal guy, over my lifetime, but I've never seen him react this way.

I could tell the left on the media was apoplectic, but this did surprise me.

Hee,hee. You are making it easier for me to stay home and watch the convention. Last week, I went but I had a chair in front of me to put my leg on. That did not work so I came home before choir even started. We are doing a big musical on the 12th and that was why I was going. It is on the web so I COULD listen to it!
