Kerry appearance at American Legion - live thread
self
Posted on 09/01/2004 4:46:34 AM PDT by rudy45
Sorry for starting this thread so early. Is this like calling "shotgun" three days before the trip starts LOL?
I was trying to find out the time that the Senator's speech will occur. I found nothing at the Legion website (www.legion.org), nor at the Kerry site, nor at CSPAN. When will the speech be given?
Anyway, here is a thread for people to post their comments.
TOPICS: Business/Economy; Constitution/Conservatism; Culture/Society; Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: 2004vote; americanlegion; kerry

Now he's sticking up for disability payments.
"The job will be done when there are no more homeless veterans on the streets of America..."
"... they were turned by an Administration who spent their money on tax-cuts for the wealthy..."
Oh, my.

Maybe it's actually "oui" and he has a French mouse in his pocket...
To: Miss Marple
Mike, he hasn't been in Washington hardly at all. When did the general have his stroke? It wasn't that long ago IF he went .. he would have brought his camera crew .. they go every where with him

Well I'm disappointed....I really thought they would give him a bad time. Wonder how many people are there?
To: kcvl
Precisely, if these things were important to him, why didn't he make it his first priority. He certainly had the power.

Now he's talking about "keeping faith" with those who wore the uniform.
Is he talking about the North Vietnamese Army?

I agree, and it looks like the terrorists are cooperating in spades.
The MSM is downplaying the taking of French Journalists and the 9/11 style terrorist attacks now occurring in Russia. Both are countries that, as you are probably fully aware, did NOT partake in helping us in Iraq. Actually, the contrary was probably true.

Talks about MIA work.

Now attaching himself to McCain Big supporter of veterans. the applause does sound weak. How many people are there? It sounds like about 50.

And, he's rushing through it as though he doesn't know if he'll get applause on any line, or not.

I don't think General Shelikoshveli (sp?) was at Walter Reed. I'm not sure how to find out if Kerry visited Walter Reed, other than emailing his campaign and asking for the date he was there

Yes, at least partly, I remember. It may have been part of a defense spending bill. Someone should look up if Kerry even bothered to show up to vote on it!!!!
