Bush' 10 point lead disappeared in the matter of 2 hours. I see it as profit taking and the low low price of Kerry Stock
There's no corresponding change at Tradesports.com, so I think my theory is right.
Let's just hope that it wasn't because of the godawful Bush Twins speech, with traders thinking that anybody who'd allow that stinker of a speech up there doesn't know what they're doing.

Yes playing army and pretending to kill communists. My first political venture was at 5 though when I kicked my neighbor's Walter Mondale. No lie!

Is it at all possible for you to disagree with someone without using profanity or personal attacks? No. Want some?

It is very hard for said poster to keep it civil. Very hard.

Funny - I feel relaxed but others have to throw insults. Some people here cannot abide any criticism of anything to do with President Bush. The girls act was lame and embarassing to many, deal with it. It's a common opinion, if you want to go after everyone holding it fine. Doesn't make them any more mature or funny. It also doesn't mean you have to throw an "older than those serving" red herring into the discussion, does it?

Tell me, which was more damaging to our troops? The Bush twins or Kerry?
Geez, that has to be one of the all-time red herring arguments. LOL

I disagree... It's important to get the young crowd to vote republican. They picked up more young votes than they lost oldies votes for sure. And I'm an oldie.
I guess you have never had a 22 year old daughter or son (I had one of each 15 years ago.). They were as good as it usually gets...

But Kerry's high is still listed as .50.

And this forum will be a sadder place for it.

Hear! Hear!
For cryin' out loud, it was such a tiny, tiny part of the convention, and I think it was very proper for them to introduce their dad, and they did fine!

It's an honest observation that they act not like 23 year olds, but far younger. That script, be it theirs or others, was fit for a much younger person. They are either immature or were fed garbage. If you expect less of 23 year olds, fine. I don't. Why you must interject yourself, out of context I might add, into a discussion with another Freeper is beyond me. Must everyone hold the same opinion of these girls?

But Kerry's high is still listed as .50. I see that now. I wonder whats going on? I think it's something fishy. And the graph still doesn't reflect the latest numbers.

I just thought it was a low blow to pull out the "those serving are younger" card.
What does that prove? That the Bush girls are privileged? Well, they are. There is no denying that. I'm just trying to understand what your point is. It seems as though you have a major problem with them.

I've often wondered that myself. How hard would it be for someone with money such as Teeerrraaaza, Soros, Moveon.org, etc to play with the markets just to make Kerry look better and Bush look bad?

If you read my first post about this matter, you'd know my point, instead of trying to get nasty and drag this out. I, like others, thought their act was lame and immature, not befitting such a slot at the convention for our party. I would think college educated 23 year old daughers of a president could come up with something more substantive to say than basically "we're cool becuse we like Outkast and Sex in the City". It was juvenile. Many people feel that way. Sadly, many Freepers feel it their duty to shout down that opinion and salivate over anything GOP. If you don't agree fine.
