Is there a website that exists for "young Republican"? I live in Shorewood, Wisconsin. My neighborhood is strongly liberal and democratic. I have six kids. My middle son (12), is very interested in politics. I have shared many articles from this website with him. He would love to be able to communicate with teens who share the Republican point of view. Most of his classmates are Democrats and hate GW. Any advise on where to send him?????
that would certainly be banned from libraries and public schools nationwide...
lol- we often speak about that very same thing at night when we walk our dogs. He is still, however, proud to be a Republican. Although, at 12, peer pressure is a huge deal.
Sort of related:

If you do a search on google, all kinds of young republican sites come up for all areas of the country.
If he's smart, send him here.
He keeps asking if he can post here and lerk. I just wasn't sure if that was OK. I will let him lerk for awhile.
FYI-I'm only 40!
There's also Sub-teenage republicans(STAR's), but can't find a web-site for them. I believe both are official auxiliaries of the RNC.
Check out this poster. We have lot's of responsible teens posting on FR. Here's a great example, check the profile page. If you trust your son, he'll be fine here. The language here is far better than in any junior high. Plus he'll learn something.
"That's what Free Republic has taught this 14yr old."
Thank you for sharing that link. My husband & I are both heavy listeners of mostly old school punk. We are in our 30's, so we have been around the scene a while. The problem is that we seem to be the only ones in the scene who are pro-bush, pro-military. This site is refreshing :)
Thank you for your reply. I'm still kinda new here and didn't want to make the evil kitty mad or get the "ZOT". He is very shy and conservative. I would actually supervise him on this site. We will give it a go!!!!
lurk... You have mail.
I always have Free Republic as our homepage on the puter. This has slyly gotten my two girls to read the posts. They have grown into 2 bright, independent thinking Republicans.
heh, my oldest started a screen name, then went off to college and told me, "mom, if I become a freeper, I'll never graduate". Her account is dormant. She went to all the algore rallies (her first time voting) with me and even gave an impromptu speech with the bull horn atop the picnic table. I was so proud! (she's a forensics national champ from high school)
