True, Kerry was only "in-country" for a paltry 4 months.
He was "on station" on the Gridley also for a paltry 4 months.
Every other Vietnam Veteran who claims any number of "tours" is referring to the 12 to 13 month timeframe required.
Kerry claims to have TWO tours in Vietnam, with most veterans, equating a minimum 24 months.
Kerry served barely a THIRD of that time.
Semantics...the next level of attack.

I hope seeing Kerry's war record used as a weapon against him does not turn off any returning vet from wanting a political career. We need them! As long as they refrain from accusing the entire American army of being murdering lunatics after returning home I'm sure they'll have nothing to worry about.

There is no "everyone" here. There are Veterans who were there making contrary claims to other Veterans who were there. So are you saying that only the 18 or so Veterans who agree with Kerry's version of events can speak, that the 254 other Swift boat Veterans should just shut up? How unAmerican of you.
