Good, had judges done this with the hippie wastes of the 60s world would be a better place today. These idiots need to be treated like the idiots they are... peaceful demonstration is one thing, riot and incitement to riot is another.

Sadly that right does not exist. The Supreme Court knocked that down. I'm not happy about that decision, but that's the way it is for now.

Are you serious? It is people like you that give human beings a bad name. I am ashamed to be from the same species as you. JAIL is punishment, not jail and RAPE.

God forbid you ever have to go to jail, I would not wish homosexual prison rape on my worst enemy.

My God I am truly disgusted. God help you.

Never mess with a guy named Patricia. He's probably developed an attitude and is going to come down hard on you.

To be fair, I don't think these are Democrats. They'll probably vote CP, if they vote at all. But I gather anarchists are pretty much against voting.

Those little-tuft-of-hair-on-the-chin "beards" are just totally, nauseatingly, gay. Pukus maximus.

My husband calls those "chin pubes."

I believe that those "chin-pubes" are cultivated for a purpose.

I hesitate to discuss, on this supposedly family-friendly forum, what I believe that purpose to be ...

The potential for disaster represented by that fire was extraodinary. I was watching on C-SPAN. The cops/firemen stopped the march, put some temporary baricades up and put out the fire/cleaned up before allowing the march to restart. The blocked marchers all stood there, patiently waiting to be waived forward. Had they been unruly, they would have barged up the avenue and slamed into the clean-up crew.

These anonymous lads get a trip, I believe, to lovely Riker's Island. If only they met some friends who are as sensitive as some of those on this list. I do hope that they will all have the opportunity to do some journaling, swap reciepes, or, maybe, crochet something frilly.

These people are not being held for not identifying themselves, but on other charges (apparently assault, resisting arrest etc.). The judge should not allow bail untill their identities are established. They could be wanted on other charges.

I like this judge. Supreme Court material.

Please note all that of the three identified two were identified with their home state...one Arizona, one Maryland...definitely not New Yorkers.

But the Democrats would not allow that. He makes too much sense.

Excuse me but 3 squares, a warm bed, Free Cable and a College Education is not considered as PUNISMENT for many people.

Let me remind you that some folks actually look forward to going to jail, and will do whatever it takes to get themselves there. Up to and including Murder!

The fear of being Gang Raped and becoming someones B!tch is the only deterance that there is anymore.

So can perps be held indefinitely if they refuse to ID themselves?

Yes. As flight risks, and in contempt of court - if the Judge orders them to give their real names.

Bummer, if your name is John Doe...

Horrible, but true.

Young "YouSuck" had better pray to his presumably-Pagan god that he draws a good cellmate or he's really going to have something to protest.

Yeah, I agree: our prisons are country clubs. What does that have to do with HOMOSEXUAL RAPE?

It is an indefensable position.

Why not work to fix the prison problems instead of ADVOCATING FOR HOMOSEXUAL RAPE.

If you want gang rape to become part of the punishment for some crime or crimes, see if you can get your state legislature to pass a law accordingly. Until then ...

Our prisons should not be playgrounds for sadistic perverts.

I agree: get rid of the CATV etc. ad nauseaum. Prisoners should be too damn tired at the end of the day, from breaking rocks or some such, to even think about committing rape. And those who commit it anyway should be castrated and emasculated with a Vise-Grips. Publicly. In front of the other prisoners. They should know that Justice works to protect them as well as to punish them.
