What democratic convention! :-) The only speaker from that convention that was half ways good is Obama. After tonight, my belief that he's another Hah-vad shyster spewing disjointed crap is confirmed. Their kid speaker was a loud mouther boorish brat and our kid speaker was an eloquent young lady from Arkansas for starters. I can't wait to hear the rest.

New to FR here. Loved reading today. thanks for the Reagan story.

The whole twin debate is wasting time from all talking about more serious stuff like what arnold brought up. BTW, they were cute if a little immature ( late twenties female here). They, like Laura Bush' comments about watching GW on the phone were real and the lineup was meant put a humnan face on the GW

God bless America; God help NJ ;)Good-nite all

Cspan is interviewing someone about how the RNC is hooked up electrically..should they be telling that stuff on air?

The protestors probably found the wire that lights the FNC skybox and yanked it. Thus leaving Neil Cavuto in the dark for about 5 minutes until they got "mood lights" turned on.

They were cute and funny IMO.

They used Gramma Barbara to make fun of THEMSELVES.

Watch it closely. Every Freeper Grandma fretted over years here about the behavior of Jenna and Barbara the same way Barbara Bush did. The girls were under a microscope ... and they did pretty damn well.

They stood up and said "Here we are Gramma, despite your fears we still love you and we're not THAT bad!" and I DUG IT.

That shows me a family cohesion and love. God, what faux-cajones to make the matriarch the butt of your jokes!

I'm thinking the Bush family, the GOP family and our American family is in an incrementally better place this morning than we were yesterday.

I'm an advocate, no bones about it. I'm diggin' the GOP, and Free Republic right now.

At this time of night I'm more confused *lol* I meant that I won't need to drink coffee to get overly energized. Listening to Arnold's speech was enough. Imagine what it'd be like when Dubya speaks.

A couple of positive callers from Canada.
"We are blessed to be your northern neighbors". "I'm a Bush supporter."

God knows they can't say this in the Canadian media.

Do you understand that Julianne Malveaux's last name means 'bad veal'?

Thank you! Until tonight, I never understood why videotapes of her Phil Donahue MSNBC appearances were being offered in the lightly traded "Spoiled stench-poisoneed Meat" subsection of Ebay.

Sorry for the early thread.

You can never be too early with these live threads Peach, I mean, some of the NASCAR threads (I'm not a big fan, but I understand the following. I've got some fans of NASCAR in my family) sometime start 2 days early! LOL

Thanks for the ping Howlin too BTW. These live threads are great, it's always great to see what others have to say, even if I'm never here at FR for the "event", but I enjoy reading them nonetheless.
