Fred Barns just slammed Laura Bush (and the Daughters). Said they had no place up there. That we're not a monarchy, we're not electing a family. Also said Laura should have spoke before Arnold.

Ahhnold did good. Laura was blahh. The twins were like half the chicks I see in the bars of Belltown on Saturday.

America loves Laura Bush!

Kristol is stupid. So is Barnes. What a bunch of uptight, wedgied old men!

As much as I love Arnold and Laura-- they should have been on the cable only night. Why?

The twins only served to reinforce their "ditz" reputations. Laura was stiff. She made some interesting points. But I'd have to question putting them after Arnold. I'd sure hate to follow Arnold.

The old fuddy duds here tonight are just jealous of those two charming young ladies.

Doesn't surprise me either! Just seems so short though! Sometimes, you just know. So, I've been told.

Plus, how scary would it be to speak before millions of people?!? I think the funniest moment in the history of stage fright occurred at Woodstock. Crosby, Stills, and Nash were a new band at the time, and after their first song or two, one of them, I think it was David Crosby, looked out over the vast, overflowing audience of at least 300,000, and confessed into the microphone, "...this is only our third gig, and we're scared s***less...".

He is wrong! They came off as typical young ladies who have a close relationship with parents and grandparents. I think the whole family have that closeness to each other.
