As much as I love Arnold and Laura-- they should have been on the cable only night.

Thanks for bringing me back to earth, bro. You are right of course. LOL
I didn't want to get too close to reality here, but it was just too painfully obvious to some of us in the southwest.

Well, I think this was all pretty good.
One minor item could have made it much better, though it would have messed up the choreography of the evening a bit...
If they had switched such that Arnie followed Laura and the twins, that would have totally beeen LIGHTS OUT.

Stupid talking heads are implying that Jenna and Barbara actually "hurt" the President.

Battle Hymn of the Republic
[Ellen 'ranting' Ratner just passed out.
First, the podium resembled a church podium and
cross, and now the Battle Hymn.]

Bill Kristol: The twins did not help the President
To: hole_n_one
That's ok. The Kerry girls come across as elitist snots.

Kondracke saying it's a contest between First Ladies of sorts and after Teresa's speech many were left puzzled. Laura quite popular. He also said the girls were ditzes (sp?) with Kristol chiming in to say the twins added little tonight. Barnes agrees with some of us -- Arnold should have been the last speaker.

BET bounced back my email about WHY WHY WHY they have no skybox at the RNC convention and let Reid go work for CNN. She should stay there!

You got it. Tonight was the "softer" night of the program. It is meant to be billed towards those that flinch at G.W. supposedly being too "masculine". Tonight was about reaching minorities, defining Republican principle to people that believe themselves to be Democrat, making it acceptable to be Republican, and showing the family side and compassion bit to G.W.'s personality. Arnold throwing in some red meat was just a plus.
