I have read where the girls do make fun of the way both Laura and W tell jokes. Said they laugh at their own jokes and are the only ones who do. Then Mom and Dad need to replay tonight's tape for the girls, so they can hear themselves giggling into the microphone as they tell their jokes. :-)

I'm kinda hoping after Arnold that Cali is in play. Dems can't get elected dog catcher without Cali.

Laura is as genuine as they come. She rediates internal beauty and grace. She is eloquent, intelligent and classy. She is positive, uplifting, caring, respectful and gentle. She is everything I want to see in a first lady. Laura is certainly a lady.

My mood is fine, thanks for your concern. I am as entitled to speak my opinion about the subject at hand as you are, sir.

I sort of agree, but Laura has a different mission than McCain and Rudy... she's trying to reach women, put a "softer face" on the president. I don't really go for this stuff, but it's smart.

Mmmm...doesn't that look yummy...

I'm late to the party. Did MSM cover Arnold?

Maybe it's the monotone delivery.
Jackie Kennedy was no better. And Hillary? "You know, you know, you know...."
She is the "anti-Teresa". And that's good!

The Sex and the city joke was lame and they started bad, But other than that the twins were fine.
They will bring in more young voters than Kerry's girls who unfortunately look like him.

Wasn't the "we don't hide under our desks anymore" a dig at Jimmy Carter?
To: Barlowmaker
Exactly - at this time in history those between 18-25 are becoming more conservative. The twins spoke to them tonight, they also spoke about the love they have of their parents. And even the most fuddy-duddy Republican had to get a good laugh at their Yale slap.
I think they did well, not professional speakers, not politicians, just two young ladies who are there to support their father.

There's trashing, and then there's poking fun. No way were they trashing their grandmother.
