TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran has arrested dozens of spies, including several who passed secrets about its nuclear program to the country's enemies, Iranian Intelligence Minister Ali Yunesi said on Tuesday. Yunesi said most of those arrested were linked to the Iraq-based Iranian opposition group the People's Mujahideen Organization (MKO), the official IRNA news agency reported. He did not say when the arrests had taken place.
Which enemies would those be? The United States? Israel? Iraq?
Window dressing to intimidate the populace. Expect a very public execution of the forty or so suspects. Iran is pretty much following the script.
You're probably right on that account. What was that last round of chest beating Iran did? Something about pre-emptive stikes against coalition forces in the region?
