I used to ask them if they ate out of that same mouth.

The sad thing is that they really believe what they're saying. WE know who rigged the machines, right?

Arnold gave a great speech last night. Even my husband was impressed. I loved his "then you are a republican" spiel. Just great!

I should have said "Bush and his family dynasty are beloved by many" or even better say "Bush is the New American Royalty" (A direct slap at the Kennedy's).

It will get worse and not better.Yup, a yellow dog democrat jumped me this morning at a men's prayer breakfast of all places.
I can tell that the dems are truly in a panic as W. increased his lead over john fonda.
I guess I could really set the old guy off if I could find and wear to breakfast a john fonda purple heart owwie band-aid.
LOL

"Yup, a yellow dog democrat jumped me this morning at a men's prayer breakfast of all places."
I will not go to our Men's prayer breakfast group at our church due to the libs who attack GW and conservatives on a regular basis. I guess the last one was really bad.
A group of us are thinking about holding a conservative prayer breakfast in our homes on Saturdays and rotating it around. Since our homes are our private property, we can demand that a rabid liberal leave if one tries to get in.
Hopefully someone will market big purple bandaids for us to wear to show our disgust with Kerry.
As you noted, the libs are in full panic. I think that will be even worse after Labor Day. Arnold gave one heck of a great speech last night, which fit perfectly with Rudy's great speech. Then we have Democrats like Ron Silver making speeches for GW re his leadership on the WOT.
This will show up in the polls with the impact of the Swift Vets, and the rats will go even more beserk.

Hey, you never know. Kindness can convert as much as anything. My hats off to you for sticking to your principles in "occupied territory" there. I have to admit though, half of my good buddies are Democrats, just not liberals. They are good people, but they don't look much beyond the surface in politics. I push small ideas to make points now and then. Maybe I'll eventually bring them over from "the dark side" : )

We LOVE Sousa marches. Bands around here rarely play them. We never hear them at the annual July 4th celebration in town. What a shame. They rouse up the patriot in you. Hmm, wonder if that's why?

Go to this link and scroll down a bit.
http://www.bands.uiuc.edu/MI/media.asp I played flute/piccolo in the band in the 1978 and 1979 seasons. The 1978 recording has some great King marches as well. We were indeed the "best band in the land", if I do say so myself ;-). In the "Three in One", you can hear the band sing (and sing well, at that)- I sing the high mens harmony (tenor line ;-). That is the classic opening of the pre-game show which has been in place since 1910, with some revisions along the way.

I should have mentioned that clicking on the recording links will bring up a page with full audio samples of each song (there you will see the Sousa, King and Fillmore credits as composers of the marches). You will need RealPlayer or Windows Media Player installed to hear them. Get ready to tap your toes! :-)

I know many good democrats, heck, I was one until a few years ago. The libs have stolen the party. I hope one day it will be redeemed but I'm not holding my breath. I rarely discuss politics with folks here. I tried it once in the history department and made a few folks ticked at me...especially the history dept. secretary. Soooo, I pick my fights.

They will lose the battle, open, and fair/square, by the election ballot in 2004. It is coming, they can see it.
And, of course, being revolutionaries, many of them may want to turn to violence. But what will they do, with no weapons, such as handguns and rifles that they all disavow and want to render illegal?
