There appears to have been a major shift in the last month in the U.S. presidential campaign from KERRY-IN-THE-LEAD to BUSH-IN-THE-LEAD.
And this, before the GOP Convention has really gotten underway.
It seems that Kerry supporters and Bush haters are becoming increasingly strident, stressed, psycopathic and perhaps even violent in some cases. Have you personally noticed this in your town and community?
.....Because of TeRAYyza's very public meltdown, the SwiftBoatVets, Unfit for Command's booming national sales, devastating Swiftee TV ads in battlegrounds states, and the Kerry slip in the polls?
Consider:
--A young Bush campaign supporter was sucker-punched yesterday at a Washington State political event by a Kerry supporter--right on national TV.
--Freepers report Kerry-ite "flip- offs" in traffic(middle finger salutes), increasingly desperate and irate liberal emotions, foul language, verbal abuse when they peacefully display pro-Swift Boat vet or anti-Kerry stickers on their cars.
--The national TV reporters and commentators who side with Kerry seem almost apoplectic on TV these days, babbling, whining, salivating and doing everything short of cursing or throwing ashtrays.
On this FR thread, kindly please related your own personal experience on cases of strange behavior by libs and Kerry supporters that you come across. It would help to know the "what", "when", "where" and "why", too. Perhaps there is a national sickness developing in over in the Hate Bush camp, as they see their lead evaporate and their chances of capturing the White House fade. They seem to have only have nasty, threatening and sometimes violent means to turn to now. Would you agree?
Yeah no kidding, but when did that ever stop a liberal ? they act like petty 10 yr.olds.
to prevent recurrances of the liberal crazies on the road
you should add another sticker implying you are 'packing heat'
Well, one thing's for sure.... over on DU, they've sure lost the cockiness they had after F911 came out.
Chicago. Friend 1 visits friend 2 for bachelorette party. Friend 2 takes Friend 1 and others to favorite bar. Friend 2 introduces friends to bouncer friend. Bouncer friend is a liberal from Ireland. Discussion turns political at 5:00 a.m. after drinking. Friend 1 from out of town gets cornered by bouncer and is grilled for being a "fascist", starts to cry because she is alone and friend 2 does not put a stop to it.
You just never know what you'll find on the internet...
Generic "Bumper Sticker" (and other stuff)

Close to your wording, but not exact...

That's right. That's why I've taken the "battle" to the next level: I don't even take my bumper sticker off in a parking lot, even though it's magnetic, and I have a new car.
I'm not going to be bullied into inconveniencing myself everytime I park my car; I'm not going to be forced to take the thing off every time. I've been lucky so far. I guess it might be only a matter of time. To me though, and this is just me, I also kind of feel like taking it off every time is kind of like being a chicken. As if Bush and my support of him is something to be "ashamed of". I know there's not a reason to think that, but it's kind of like the same thing with the terrorists and the war against them. If we let them affect our lives, then they've won.
Besides, I'd just LOOOVE to catch some slimy little leftist in the act of keying my car. LOL
Well said folks. That is why I am willing to drive around Ottawa ( Capital of lieberal Canada) with a bumper sticker that says....
" Liberals They have what it takes, to take what you have!"
And that's why, during our last election I had these plastered all over my car
""What on earth is Bear Repellant??""
Basically, it is a can of pepper spray that is supercharged for campers and hikers. They use it to spray bears and make them go away. Think of pepper spray out of a fire extinguisher..a BIG spray....
After reading this post I made sure to look for Bush or Kerry stickers on my way home. Score was Bush 3, Kerry 0!
Yeah. The other day, we were driving along and as we turned to the right into a side street, we heard a car horn as a car (had been behind us) sped up and a young man hung out the passenger side with a Kerry sign - in answer to the Bush/Cheney magetic bumper sticker we had on our van. That's it, we couldn't help it if they were a day late and a dollar short getting their Kerry bumper sticker on. It's the China Syndrome, I tell you.
Here by the bay, the Kerry bumper stickers and anti Bush stickers are 20 to 1, only outnumbered by the 'rainbow' stickers.
probab;y driving the wife's truck?
I have a "W 04" oval on either side of my cycle's tank.
I like to come along side Kerry vehicles, and once they see
it, point to it,give it the thumbs up and take off.
"Hate is not a family value"
That one does not make me angry; because it shows how inept the person is at reasoning. Let them advertise their weak brain power . . .
(Plus, by now, constant reiteration of "hate" at every opportunity by the left has rendered that accusation meaningless.)
Sort of like the lame pro-abortion chant "keep your rosaries off my ovaries" -- what is THAT supposed to mean?
(and a more tawdry comparison using the name of our current President, which I will not deign to repeat . . .)
I got cutoff on the way home tonight (Dulles Toll Road) by a big SUV with B/C '04 bumper sticker. Does this mean all SUV drivers are rude/bad drivers? What about B/C supporters?
I ask the clerk if that's the way they are delivered or is that the stores policy. She said it was the stores. They had none of these on the shelfs for sale they only had in the store what people had requested. Every book store I have spoken with, 3 to be exact, said they are only special ordering because the publisher wasn't prepared for the popularity and did not print enough.
"I voted for Kerry before I voted against him sticker"
I really like that one :)
It gets the message across by turning the table on them.
"Ive been thinking about the civil war parallels for quite some time."
Civil war - no. They don't have the courage of their convictions. Their only chance is to win the power of the state and use it against those they disagree with. Remember "those are our jets now" from the Clinton inaguration?
well said!
What do you think?
