Liberal Meltdown in America: Flip-Offs, Road Rage & Violence by Kerry-ites (Your Experiences?)
AmericanInTokyo ^ | 29 August 2004 | AmericanInTokyo

Posted on 08/30/2004 2:36:53 PM PDT by AmericanInTokyo

There appears to have been a major shift in the last month in the U.S. presidential campaign from KERRY-IN-THE-LEAD to BUSH-IN-THE-LEAD.

And this, before the GOP Convention has really gotten underway.

It seems that Kerry supporters and Bush haters are becoming increasingly strident, stressed, psycopathic and perhaps even violent in some cases. Have you personally noticed this in your town and community?

.....Because of TeRAYyza's very public meltdown, the SwiftBoatVets, Unfit for Command's booming national sales, devastating Swiftee TV ads in battlegrounds states, and the Kerry slip in the polls?

Consider:

--A young Bush campaign supporter was sucker-punched yesterday at a Washington State political event by a Kerry supporter--right on national TV.

--Freepers report Kerry-ite "flip- offs" in traffic(middle finger salutes), increasingly desperate and irate liberal emotions, foul language, verbal abuse when they peacefully display pro-Swift Boat vet or anti-Kerry stickers on their cars.

--The national TV reporters and commentators who side with Kerry seem almost apoplectic on TV these days, babbling, whining, salivating and doing everything short of cursing or throwing ashtrays.

On this FR thread, kindly please related your own personal experience on cases of strange behavior by libs and Kerry supporters that you come across. It would help to know the "what", "when", "where" and "why", too. Perhaps there is a national sickness developing in over in the Hate Bush camp, as they see their lead evaporate and their chances of capturing the White House fade. They seem to have only have nasty, threatening and sometimes violent means to turn to now. Would you agree?

So...am I sinking to their level? I never allow a Kerry-stickered car to merge into the right lane.

It seems these Skerryites love to pass me and then make a sudden cut into the right lane in order to exit on their way to their favorite latte house/head shop/Volvo dealership.

I never, ever let them into the right lane. I have no Bush stickers on my truck (an evil Dodge pickup), only a KofC logo. I just play the country bumpkin when I get the expected middle finger salute.

"I have only seen ONE (of 53) Bush cars that had any kind of "hate Kerry/hate Libs" sticker."

Some brave guy in Tally has a huge sticker of the ubiquitous Calvin-urinating, this one on the word "Liberals." I was trying to get close to give him a thumbs up, a "W", a "4 more years" or something... couldn't get close enough. I have a lot of respect for that guy having the testicles to put that on his nice car in THIS city.

"and a open box of 9mm. Never had his truck broken into."

Cheaper than any car alarm, even if you're buying expensive hollow points.

You can always warn them to watch their attitude since you'll probably be their only hope of them being able to vote. If not for your good graces, maybe they couldn't get their hands on a ballot???

Paybacks are a *itch. Heheh.

There is no other explanation, when a freak in a Volvo tries to run you off the road, and flips the finger in the process (unless you did something offensive in the way you drove). Yep, liberals do that kind of thing. VERY VERY INTOLERANT PEOPLE. It is their mental makeup.

Nixon had his V Victory sign. I guess the middle finger is the symbol of Kerry and his supporters this election. Sheesh.

The growing consensus seems to be: Magnetic or suction cup backed stickers, that can be put on before the ride and taken off at the destination, thereby getting the political message out but also protecting one's car when it is parked. Other than that, I suppose it's not being able to show stickers anymore, and thus giving up an element of our FREE SPEECH rights to the fascist liberals.

Great topic!!!! I'm too cowardly to put a really devisive bumper sticker on. But, I might have inspired Lib Fratricide once.

Back in '92, after Slick was elected, I printed one with his smiling mug, captioned "Now, more than ever... QUESTION AUTHORITY!" Figured it was time to throw that eighties Lib Cliche back in their face.

Once, when I drove with it thru UberLib Montgomery County, I saw in my rearview a driver in a van behind me really cracking up at it, whilst his female companion in the passenger seat gave him a really dirty look!

Sheesh, do these libs ever all sound the same, like they attend the same horrid seminar on how to harrass people and try to deny them their free speech rights. Its almost as cookie cutter as those liberal talk show seminar jerks who call Rush and others (before they get mocked or cut off!)

I had somebody in a coupe pull up along side me one night, lean over the passenger seat and flip me off.

I put on my left blinker and started to change lanes.

Dimbulb figured out real quick he/she didn't want to play bumper cars with my Durango and stayed 25yds behind me (even at lights) for the next couple miles until I turned off.

Great graphics and painfully accurate. I bought a new car and have my Bush-Cheney and pro-life stickers as well as American flag in the windows. While parked in my company parking lot, it has been keyed twice (one scratch was a K) and as of today, my windshield has a long scratch on the drivers side. This damage has occured over the last 3 weeks.

I had the scratches repaired and will see what can be done for the windshield. But I WILL NOT be intimidated into removing any symbols of love for my country or our president. These acts only strengthen my resolve.

As a conservative who happens to be Christian, female, black, and left-handed, can I play victim and call this a hate crime?!

Yes, I've notified my company and building security of the incidents. They say they'll work to find the culprit.

My Bush-stickered car had nails pounded into the tires five days in a row in 2000 while parked in the secure lot of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle.

Now, I live in Fargo, North Dakota, where everyone is nice, even the Democrats!

I live in W. PA, the heart of labor union mentality. I put an official "Bush-Cheney '04" sign in my front yard. As I have a corner lot, I put it at the intersection of the street were people driving both ways can't miss it.

I also have 3 (count 'em, 3) bumper stickers on my car: "Bush-Cheney '04", "CNN LIES", and my favorite, "Bush: 'Lets Roll!', Kerry: 'Lets Roll Over'.

I expected that there would be hell to pay for my insolance.

So far..., nothing. I can't believe it. I thought someone would run over my yard sign. Nope. I figured I'd get dirty looks or worse out on the road. Not a damn thing.

I think these people are embarrassed to admit they're for Kerry.
