Second Toy Found In Candy Appears To Depict Osama Bin Laden

MIAMI -- In Miami, a wholesaler has announced that his company will recall 14,000 bags of candy.
The bags contain a toy that looks like a plane flying into a building and, we found, a second toy that looks like Osama Bin Laden suspended between the two buildings.
Eyewitness News broke this story, but, for the first time, we had the chance to speak with a representative from the corporation that distributed the candy.
"Importers did not realize what they were buying. They were buying assortments of toys and they get to people like us trying to sell authentic Mexican candies. Nobody caught it and it went out into the stores," explains Lisy Corporation manager Luis Pardon.
The manager of Lisy Corporation says the candy was originally purchased sight unseen, but now he'll send back all he's collected.

Do these"qualify" as kitsch or just "tacky"?
What the heck? I'd be checking out who works the production line(s) for that candy manufacturer.

If I were REALLY paranoid, I might wonder if this was some kind of subtle "communication" to terrorist cells here in the US.
what is the name of the company making and distributing these toys? (so we can all help put them out of business)

Oh, great. My kid's been begging me non-stop for a toy that shows Osama Bin Laden as King Kong knocking over buildings, and now they RECALL it.
I guess he'll have to be happy with his Charles Manson action figures.
I wouldn't mind seeing Osama suspended from a tall building.

I think the Osama looks like Godzilla.
These toys were bad scary ideas (like plastic spiders).
The rest of the world doesn't really get us at all. They think they understand our culture, but they just don't.
Proves indeed this is terrorism related.

Proves people are much too skittish and soft to fight terrorism if they fear plastic toys.
