Families of POWs Frightened By Kerry
NewsMax hears from inside the Swift Boat Vets groups that Kerrys campaign and its allies in the media have been so intimidating that some critics are now fearful of coming forward.
The plan was to release the first TV ad with Kerrys own band of brothers from the Swift Boats accusing him of lying about what happened in Vietnam and his own record.
The second wave was to have POWs on camera accusing Kerry of betrayal for his anti-war activities after he left Vietnam.
Those two waves hit like political atom bombs.
The third wave of attack was to have the families of the POWs go on air to reveal how Kerrys activities hurt them and their imprisoned loved ones.
Apparently, there are also claims that anti-war protesters like Jane Fonda and John Kerry actually contacted the families of POWS, encouraging them to come forward and criticize the U.S. government. Some families were told that by criticizing the U.S. government their loved ones in Hanoi would get better treatment.
But getting POW family members to speak out has become difficult. After seeing how the Swift Boat Vets and the POWs have been treated, many are fearful of going public.
One who went through the ringer for speaking out was former POW Ken Cordier, a former Air Force Colonel. When a friend recently commiserated with the media drubbing, Cordier said, The communists tortured me for seven years, this is nothing.

The Democrat Party is a Criminal Enterprise.
This needs to happen. The idea that John Kerry could be elected Commander in Chief is a disgrace.
It's interesting to contemplate how long John Fraud Kerry would have lasted as a POW.
He'd probably be a one of Jiang Zhemin's Lieutenants today had he been captured then.
They can't let the Dems win through intimidation. The truth will set them free.
The backlash towards Dems harassing POWs and their families would be high on the Richter scale.
these swifties have been holding their own pretty well - I don't see why these other folks should all be scared off. and if this statement by McCain that is running on another thread about this being "fair game" pans out - they should go for it.
bttt
"The Democrat Party is a Criminal Enterprise."
The Democratic Party is the Socialist Mafia, and, yes, it is a Criminal Enterprise.
Don't know where Newsmax got THIS tidbit. Looks like they're gonna be more shocked than Kerry in the next couple of weeks.
If Kerry attacks the families, maybe McCain will slap Kerry down hard...
Does anyone besides me smell something rotten as to why Unfit for Command will not be shipped until maybe after the Nov election. Amazon has upped my ship date from first ship date of Aug 27 to 29 to sept 27-29 or Oct to Nov.
BTW a friend who sent a letter to the editor had it refused as too abrasive.
Yes, McCain - in his opinion - gave everyone the green light to go after Kerry's communist support in 1971. People should go for it and end their torment. This would balance the scales.
McCain may soon be irrelevant.
"Cordier said, The communists tortured me for seven years, this is nothing.
Any doubts about who the men are in this whole thing?
how is that?
I pray the POW families find the courage to speak out about John Forbes Kerry. They must speak for all those who never returned from Vietnam after he decided to support communism and detest these United States.
He now wants to run this country. He will trade the sovereignty of this great nation for a nice bottle of wine.
You owe it to the world to tell us who John Kerry really is. In his words, "BRING IT ON".
Speaking of cans, I think Kerry's campaign is in the trash can.
I feeled grieved for the POW families for having been contacted, during their time of grief and uncertainty, by the Jane Fonda/Kerry crowd, urging them to speak out against the war to get their POW men better treatment. WOW. WOW.
