"If Kerry attacks the families, maybe McCain will slap Kerry down hard..."

During those Senate Hearings looking into whether any POW/MIA's were still alive, McCain was as vicious as Kerry in insisting the POW/MIA families were liars and nuts. Up until then I admired McCain. My admiration turned to hate the day I hear them (Kerry and McCain) sentence our brave POW/MIAs to life as prisoners, never to come home. In fact, I'll bet the POW/MIAs were killed once their captors heard that our own congress was not interested in finding them. There wouldn't have been any point in feeding them any longer. McCain, of all people should have been fighting to move heaven and earth to find those guys and bring them home. In spite of the families having proof of sightings he sided with Kerry to destroy the evidence and close the subject once and for all. It was disgraceful!
