actually it was in front of Macys. I was with the Protest Warriors and saw it go down. There was two cops dragging another cop that was all bloody and beaten.

The were arresting the guy that lit puff the liberal dragon on fire. Apparently, they had hidden smoke bombs, ball bearings, and other anarchist paraphernalia in the hollow handles they were using for their signs... The NYPD were arresting the guy that lit the fire, and they encircled the cops and began throwing bottles, ball bearings, etc at the cops. After the melee three police officers were wounded - one was burned...

The local media skipped the story, I guess they have the same standards that they apply to TROP for TPOP.
