Hippies be GONE!

Not mine, just stumbled accross the page
Wasn't that arrested guy on "TAXI" at one point? Jim Ignatowski?
But I thought it was 100s of 1000s! Guess it depends on who counts.
I thought it was interesting that many protesters said they were protesting against President Bush, but not "for" JK.
Just think about it ... we had all of these people in ONE place. It would have been so easy ...
Where were these protesters when Saddam was killing hundreds of thousands of his people, torturing and imprisoning millions of his people, and completely denying any of them any civile rights whatsoever? Yes, people have died in order to overturn this thugocracy, and we grieve for every innocent life, particularly those of our real American heroes (i.e., not John Kerry.) But the ends justify the means. A free, stable Iraq is a difficult but necessary step in the war on terror.
Anybody who saw this on C-SPAN saw a gathering of socialist, communist, anarchist and other freaks. Too bad the whole country could not be treated to this spectacle....
Huh?
As someone else has already said, this was a very remarkably "white" parade!
"Someone less smug for Protestor"
Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) is a group of veterans from Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. We are committed to saving lives and ending the violence in Iraq by an immediate withdrawal of all occupying forces. We also believe that the governments that sponsored these wars are indebted to the men and women that were forced to fight them and must give their Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Airmen the benefits that are owed to them upon their return home.
It did.
It will not look well for Kerry when his VVAW days are laid out for the American people in the coming days and they see he is one with what took place today.
"I'm an Iraqi veteran against the war! ...hey, it worked for Kerry, didn't it?"
May Sgt Baker RIP. I wonder how he would feel about his brother? Most of these are just young losers with nothing better to do with their lives. I don't recall a photo essay of the protesters at the dimwit convention in Boston. You know, the one's kept in a cage. These seem to be free to roam the streets.
Just goes to show, you can choose to die for your country, but you can't choose your relatives, nor how they will defame your name after you are gone.
morons...more than 3,000 died right there in new york city...
Let's pray for the reelection of President Bush!
