It's the eve of the big Republican National Convention, the Olympics are winding down, and it's time for the MTV Video Awards. Bunch of stuff happening tonight, so it should be a good show.
Hopefully lainie will be here a little later to liven things up a bit.
So find a good seat, relax, and let the comments fly!

Doesn't get much better than this...Sunday night..TV on, muted, switching between the Olympic closing ceremony and the baseball game, putting Drudge on the radio..Freeping..glass of milk, and a plateful of Oreos next to the keyboard....is this a GREAT county, or what?
Now THAT'S living..........LOL!
Heya tech!
Tonight should be a h00t with all the loonies in NYC!
Double-stuffed?..The coffee/mocha are really good also..Do you still pull them apart..lick out the filling?
Bob Dole on Larry King (its a live show tonight) kicking Kerry as* right now.
with David Gergen taking up the slack for Kerry - but Dole is not giving in! Man, that Viagra is a miracle friggin drug!
He's feeling "liddy"...
the guy has had some new life breathed into him, it can't just be a cure for erectile disfunction - its got to have some other life giving properties!
Gary Hart on 77 WABC before Drudge -- Undecideds will break 3-1 for Kerry and Ralph Nader has to account for his helping W retain the White House, even if that doesn't come to pass.
Just caught the ending, but Brian Whitman had Gary Hart on. (Gary Hart is an also ran from way back when---he got caught in a motel with a lady who wasn't his spouse). Both were whining about meanie Ralph Nadar causing poor little Jacquestrap to lose ground and maybe even get GWB re-elected.
Hart darn near called Nader a traitor L0L
no way on the undecideds. Bush is seen as the "safe" choice in time of military and national security threats.
What I really think is that Liddy wants to be VP in '08..remember, it's an open seat, and in effect, the day after he's re-elected, he becomes a "lame duck" and the jostlign starts..You have to make a name for yourself..as a viable contender..Liddy's working very hard to help the GOP take Edwar'ds seat..heck..she already beat the guy last time out..and sicne the VP candidate is always the hatchet man on the political campaign.. it's notreally her image, so maybe her husband is showing that he's still got it..whatever it is, I hope they keep drinking it..

The ABC news report just said around 100,000 protesters coming down from 250,000.
