Way to go!!! Thanks from all of us.
I really wish I could be there. I would love every minute of it!!!
It'd be great to see the counter-protestors get as much air-time...but I'm not betting the ranch on it!!
Way to go people!!!!!!!

I love not living in a democracy!
I watched about an hour of the protest on CSPAN, and I kept straining for a glimpse of counter-protests. I knew they had to be there, because periodically the crowd would boo, shout curses, or make thumbs-down (or middle-fingers-up) gestures at something. However, the cameras seldom showed what was getting them all riled up. I did catch a glimpse of a "Commies For Kerry" sign on the sidelines, as well as a sign with the words "Kerry" and "Unfit." Those glimpses were very gratifying.
My hat is off to those who braved the fray today. I wish I could have joined you, but health problems have forced me to the sidelines for now.
Richard Ivory looks as if he is about to bite that damn finger off
Thanks for the post. I hope we can get a thread going with lots of pics of the protest and counter protests at the RNC convention.
We will not let Kerry lose another war!
I just got back from the ProtestWarrior operation in NYC and let me say, it was AWESOME! There will be pictures and video going up on their site pretty soon I would assume. I think there were about 250 or so of us at the beginning, and we picked up another 30-40 people from the streets who decided to join up with us after seeing the hypocracy of the lunatics in the "peace" march.

SPOT ON!!!!!
Wish I could be there as well, but I boycott all states who have legislated out of existence the Second Amendment.
Why our RNC is there is beyond me.
Good work all Freepers and non-Freepers who stood up for George Bush and against the Rats!
Ping for later when more photos and reports are posted.
I believe they were reacting to a large "FOX News" sign near the entrance to MSG. C-Span panned over to the sign periodically, but it was mostly not in the shot.
I guess Bush forces them to watch.....
You're right about the FOX News sign. I saw it a couple of times, and it did seem to drive the weenies into a frenzy. Their chants sounded so childish.
I think the prize for Most Childish Chant goes to the guy who yelled "George Bush, kiss my tush!" I had to laugh, listening to him.
