"Somebody can't count."

Never accept crowd estimates at face value. Remember, even in close order formation, shoulder to shoulder and heel to toe, a human being takes up at least 1 sqare meter of ground space. In crowds in the open, folks tend to disperse until they take up c. 10 square meters per person.

Measure the ground; the number of sq. meters divided by 10 is usually the highest probable number of people at an outdoor event.

It was like deja vu to the late 60's and early 70's for any of us who remember that (horrible) era. It also made me think of some of the death-penalty protests I saw while we were living in Dublin, Ireland. Same masquerade almost party atmosphere to such serious issues. It is ridiculous and yet they are treated with such reverence by the media. Well the Greek communists did something pretty silly a couple of days ago in their protests against the U.S. too.
Grow Up, Liberals!

As far as I'm concerned, they should march every one of those bastards around the hole that once was the World Trade Center to give them the clue as to what appeasment gave us.

It demands too much of the liberal capacity for rational thought to realize that if we pulled out of Iraq and Afghanistan, those terrorists we're fighting over there would be over here.

The terrorists are already over here.

After thinking about this a little more, (ok getting more
angry at the protesters), I think we should round them all
up, and send them on a one way trip to Russia. Lets, just
see how they like communism, after a few years.

North Korea would be better. More hard core Commies in charge over there. That would teach them a lesson they'd never forget.

a REAL MAN, with past foibles he admitted and labored to eliminate.

This is to the point! John Kerry's record and life over the past 30 years do absolutely nothing to demonstrate he is any different now than he was in 1971.

I live in one of the bulidings in the background. It is the two tiered building that is the second from the left. I was busy today or I would have loved to have been near by to cheer on Cheney.
