"John Kerry...Meet Roger Allen Pederson and Joseph Guy LaPointe Jr."---(You owe us an Apology)

"We will not quickly join those who march on Veterans Day waving small flags, calling to memory those thousands who died for the 'greater glory of the United States.' We will not accept the rhetoric."

John Kerry--"The New Soldier" (Epilogue)

============================

Senator Kerry...I thought you might like to meet a couple of those men who served in Vietnam.

These are the men you tried to paint as soldiers who ravaged South Vietnam in the manner of..."Ghengis Khan". Men who "raped, cut off ears, cut off heads......" in the service of their Nation.

Now that you are running for President and painting yourself as some sort of 'hero'....I thought you might like to visit with a couple of men who are Heroes.

Men who served in Vietnam.

Men who died trying to save and protect their friends.

Headquarters

5TH INFANTRY DIVISION
APO San Francisco 96477

14 June 1971

GENERAL ORDERS

NUMBER 2060

AWARD OF THE DISTINGUISHED SERVICE CROSS 1. TC 320. The following AWARD is announced posthumously.

PEDERSON, ROGER A. 398-54-5854 SPECIALIST FOUR United States Army HQ & HQ Troop, 3d Squadron, 5th Cavalry, 5th Infantry Division

Awarded: Distinguished Service Cross
Date action: 29 March 1971
Theater: Republic of Vietnam

Reason: For extraordinary heroism in connection with Military operations involving, conflict with an armed hostile force in the Republic of Vietnam: Specialist Four Pederson distinguished himself as medical aidman in support of a besieged American unit. While en route to the contact area, his convoy was ambushed by an enemy force firing rocket propelled grenades and automatic weapons. Specialist Pederson leaped from his vehicle amid intense enemy fire and raced forward to treat the wounded. With enemy rounds spraying around him, Specialist Pederson treated two wounded and dragged both to safety. Although wounded in this action, he again attempted to reach another casualty. Ignoring his own wounds Specialist Pederson began treating the casualty’s wounds. When a hail of bullets struck his location, Specialist Pederson shielded the soldier with his own body, sustaining additional wounds. Shortly thereafter he succumbed to his own wounds. Specialist Four Pederson's extraordinary heroism and devotion to duty at the cost of his life were in keeping of the traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army. Authority: By direction of the President under the provisions of the Act of Congress approved 25 July 1963.

FOR THE COMMANDER:

Chief of Staff
OFFICIAL:

Adjutant General

=================================

Joseph Guy LaPointe, Jr
Specialist Four
Army Of The United States
Medal of Honor

Rank and organization:
Specialist Fourth Class, U.S. Army
2d Squadron, 17th Cavalry, 101st Airborne Division
Place and date:
Quang Tin Province, Republic of Vietnam, 2 June 1969
Citation:
For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. SP4 La Pointe, Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2d Squadron, distinguished himself while serving as a medical aidman during a combat helicopter assault mission. SP4 La Pointe's patrol was advancing from the landing zone through an adjoining valley when it suddenly encountered heavy automatic weapons fire from a large enemy force entrenched in well fortified bunker positions. In the initial hail of fire, 2 soldiers in the formation vanguard were seriously wounded. Hearing a call for aid from 1 of the wounded, SP4 La Pointe ran forward through heavy fire to assist his fallen comrades. To reach the wounded men, he was forced to crawl directly in view of an enemy bunker. As members of his unit attempted to provide covering fire, he administered first aid to 1 man, shielding the other with his body. He was hit by a burst of fire from the bunker while attending the wounded soldier. In spite of his painful wounds, SP4 La Pointe continued his lifesaving duties until he was again wounded and knocked to the ground. Making strenuous efforts, he moved back again into a shielding position to continue administering first aid. An exploding enemy grenade mortally wounded all 3 men. SP4 La Pointe's courageous actions at the cost of his life were an inspiration to his comrades. His gallantry and selflessness are in the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit on him, his unit, and the U.S. Army.

====================================

Senator Kerry...you will note that these two soldiers (who reminded you so much of Ghengis Khan) were both Medics...and one was a Conscientious Objector .

You have spread your lies for too long.

You owe these men an apology for the lies you told the American People about them.

"You owe these men an apology for the lies you told the American People about them."

Actually, what kerry owes these men and many, many others is a CONFESSION. AND, kerry's name should be changed to DEFENDANT kerry.

I have said it before (and my wife worries about visits from the Secret Service for saying it...but hey..)

John Kerry should be brought up on charges of Treason.

He should be given a fair trial...and found guilty.

He should have a rope placed around his neck.

He should be left hanging until he stops twitching.

Given Lyndon Johnson's for a flight that never even saw action, Silver Stars appear to be just enough under the radar to be handed out as political favors. Johnson's and Kerry's should both get official inquiries and be revoked.

Thanks for the ping rr, great post as usual.

If you don't mind, I would like to ask you a few questions.

1. Did the USA "win" or "lose" in the Vietnam conflict?

A. Win
B. Lose

2. Has the USA ever lost another war or conflict besides Vietnam?

A. Yes
B. No

3. What was the cause of the USA's loss in Vietnam?

A. The North Vietnamese and others were too strong and defeated us militarily.
B. The decision to stop fighting came from outside the USA (France, Germany, Russia, or ??)
C. The decision to stop fighting came from within the USA.

4. If you choose "the decision came from within the USA" in the last question, who or what was the greatest force within the USA that precipitated that decision?

A. the President's leadership
B. the Congress' leadership
C. the families of the dead and wounded
D. the stigma attached to the conflict by anti-war groups
E. Other ???

5. Do you believe that the population of the USA was influenced to such a high degree by the anti-war groups that the country simply lost the will to fight?

A. Yes
B. No

6. Do you believe that the leaders of the Vietnam anti-war movement played a pivotal role in causing the "loss" of the Vietnam war?

A. Yes
B. No

7. Do you understand that Hitler, Hirohito, King George III and others couldn't accomplish what Jane Fonda, John Kerry and others did?

A. Yes
B. No

8. Would you be willing to vote Hitler, Hirohito, King George III, to be president of the USA?

A. Yes
B. No

9. Why then are the Democrats presenting one of the only people to ever defeat the USA to be president?

(make up your own answer to this, I'm too sick to think about it anymore)

Thank you, redrock.

We should know and honor our heroes.

If John Kerry, Walter Cronkite, Michael Moore never existed, post-Vietnam war generations would still need to learn the truth about the men (and women) who serve in our military.

We've been badly misled, and allowed the lies to stand - unthinkingly.

This war is not going to end soon.

American neighbors and family members will continue to serve and share their stories.

The true nature of this enemy will be exposed with every dishonorable demand and cruel act.

More of our neighbors will come to see the truth....and many will have a very difficult time forgiving themselves for the wrong they're doing to our troops and veterans today.

That's what he said. It's the French/European uppercrust dialect.

"Unfit for Command" says it all! And the American people should remember, if Kerry is elected President, many of our volunteer military will get out as soon as they can. Thus, we would go back to a draft.
