Furthermore, I am asking you why the mods allow you to be here.
Easy now. Every village has one. ;-)

That is the fact that Kerry entire political organization, including his top advisor's, are all Clintonite's. Some are, but many are just pre-Clinton liberals of the worst order. Their knee-jerk reaction is to sneer at anything military or anyone who ever served. Hence the DNC/Kerry Campaign letter to television stations calling the SBVs a bunch of liars. The upside may have been to keep one or two stations from showing the ad. The downside was to tick off minimally 1/2 (and I would guess up to 99%) of the people who served in the U.S. military. You don't go out and make that many million instant political enemies as a matter of deliberate choice. IOW Kerry's political advisers are completely inept.
There are some hands that you should just fold, but they raised the ante more than their gambling limit.

I am asking you why you are here. Furthermore, I am asking you why the mods allow you to be here. I have yet to see you support any conservative position. I have yet to see you support the President in any endeavor.Potential "up" side to said presence: if Jim ever starts grading us all on the curve... we all automatically go up an entire letter grade, in comparison. :)

All the children in the neighborhood are freightened by her...
But all the adults know that the toothless old nag is actually harmless.

the Republicans are putting their social moderates out front, and burying all the hatchet-faced Right-wing meaniesDo you think "Hatchet-Faced Right-Wing Meanie" sounds cooler than "Notorious North Carolina Niceness Nazi"? Is Mark suggesting that alliteration is out of fashion?

There's yet ANOTHER "medal eruption" brewing, one that caused another man years ago to take his own life rather than deal with. Stay tuned. I'll never buy that medal flap as the reason for Boorda's "suicide".

So the most likely outcome this November is an increased Republican majority in the House, a couple of extra Senate seats, and a second term for Bush. From your keyboard to God's ears, Mark!

Political chat rooms on the net remain abuzz with the Euros' and domestic lefties' palpable excitement over President Bush's upcoming "certain defeat." If all goes well (as trends indicate) this will be almost too sweet in November.Either that, or they've already scripted the outcome?

"but 15 per cent of Democrats - mainly "conservative Democrats - are planning to vote for Bush."
Must be a typo. Should be 25%.
