This is the kind of info that needs to get out. The cover alone of The New Soldier makes Hanoi John Unfit. Seven thousand United States Marines died to put up that flag at Iwo Jima and to mock them is an unspeakable act of cowardice, opportunism, unAmericanism, and yes....treason.

We will not readily join the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars--in fact, we will find it hard to join anything at all --SNIP-- John F. Kerry Epilogue to The New Soldier (1971)

I wonder if he quoted himself when he spoke at the VFW recently...

"The critical issue here is that the Vietnamese Communists have chosen to honor Senator Kerry in their War Remnants Museum for his assistance in helping them achieve victory over the United States."

From web page - KERRY HONORED BY COMMUNISTS

For photos of KERRY & FONDA at the Vietnamese Communist War Remnants Museum (formerly known as the “War Crimes Museum”)

I've heard that the North Vietmanese erected a statue to John Kerry in Hanoi. I've forgotten, what's that city named today?

An excellent article - one that just gives us a peek under the manhole cover into the sewer of Kerry's thought processes and motivations.

Kerry consciously maligned all of us that served in the Vietnam War, enthusiastically supporting the enemy in the process. He spent a few months over there, running up and down the rivers. Where did he have any contact with the rest of us? How could he have seen the courage and generosity of the soldiers and Marines, the sacrifices of our pilots, the fear the villagers had for the 'National Liberation Front'? He wasn't anywhere near the real fighting yet he came home and called all of us criminals.

Based on his record, he never deserved office in the first place and he definitely never should be our president.

What were the Democrats thinking?

THINK! THINK! THINK!

Kerry is a blind man leading the blind into a morass, ( ie. of uniting with the United Nations and turning our soverignty over to them). Just one of many stupid ideas endorsed or suggested by him. This would be a fatal mistake.

"I will not question Kerry's record in Vietnam."

I will.

kerry is an opportunistic coward. Every move he has made in his life was to serve a singular purpose - the advancement of President Kerry.

kerry's pathology is almost sociopathic - he doesn't seem to notice whose lives he wrecks in his pursuit of power, and he doesn't seem to care when it is brought to his attention.

kerry has had a truly blessed life - a life in which he has been presented many opportunities to "raise all boats" - to do something that would benefit the lives (or at least the living conditions) of those around him. But he consistently chose a path of self-aggrandisement instead.

Life for kerry is a photo-op. How sad.

I wonder if, at the end of his days, he doesn't have a "rosebud" moment where he recognizes (if only for a second) that the keys to the kingdom had been his all along. If only had had been paying attention instead of preening for the camera..........

"I'm not going to quibble, you know, 35 years later that I might not have phrased things more artfully at times."

Not the phrasings, but the substance at issue for most of us.
