LA Times poll shows Bush, Kerry running about even in three key states

This is taken from the Miami Herald and is an Associated Press article on the Los Angeles Times Poll recently released:::

LA Times poll shows Bush, Kerry running about even in three key states

LOS ANGELES - ....

The polls showed Bush ahead in each state but in Missouri and Wisconsin the president's lead fell within the polls' margins of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points, the newspaper reported Thursday. In Ohio, Bush's lead was only 1 percentage point outside the margin of error.

Headline says they are even, article says well... that's not honest because the President is actually ahead, but in two states it's within the 4-point margin of error and in Ohio, lordy-lordy, Mr. Bush is only 1 percentage point ahead of the margin of error, or in other words he is FIVE points ahead of the Frenchurian Candidate,  and was behind one month ago in all three states.

For Crying Out Loud ... what spin, and to think the typical Dem/Indy voter in Miami is too stupid to catch this.

To correct an LA Times poll, add 10 pts to the GW results, and subtract 10 pts from the Kerry results.

Let me translate Pravda On the Pacific's NewsSpeak for you.

Bush is ten points ahead across the board, even in these states.

Hope that helps.

BTW, today's Miami Herald poll had The Prez at 52% and JFK at 43% in Florida.

Do terrorists have anything to lose now to try upsetting the election? If their man Kerry is clearly going to lose they have increased reason to blow civilian targets up. They haven't forgotten their success with the Spanish cowards.

I've been trying to figure out what Kerry would want. So far I'm about 50/50 whether he thinks a terrorist act would help him or hurt him.

If Kerry decides a terrorist act will help him, how does he help it happen? Work his French friends? If he can get the Frogs to shoot down Teresa's Gulfstream with her in it he gets the sympathy vote, plus he inherits her $500 million.

She's worth billions from what I hear. As for Kerry helping terrorists, he's too stupid to actually help. They wouldn't want that. They just love him fronting for them as a useful idiot.
