I actually read all this and appreciate your passion. There are certain things which are supposed to be mysteries and given only to that One One is in love with. The whole deal was not to be compared.Fixated on, adjusted, like what happened with breasts. All of us adjust over time to our partner.Hopefully that partner will be a soul-mate and life goes on.The direction to a woman's most private area and flippant comentary about it is a genuine slur on all. It makes them more easily understandable by any cretin or other terror. It was not supposed to be this way. Many, many have died to protect a woman's honor in this land and others. The end result of differing effectivness is historical.Women are Women and complete the pattern for trully important work under God. To reduce them to a system of holes and response organs is almost the lowest thing that can be done. There's money in destroying women and young girls and that's the bitter nub.

It is true that women have achieved great advancement over the last thirty years. It is also true that those advancements occurred during the deaths of 40 million fetuses, and women said nothing.
I watched about five minutes of a cable broadcast of the Vagina Monologues. It was more juvenile than anything I have seen men do during my lifetime. I can only imagine the depths a full play would have sunk to.
Is this liberation? The fact that our children have no parents (whether male for female) at home when they return from school, worth what women have achieved? Childhood pregnancy, drug abuse, alcoholism, prostitution and worse, are all on the rise. Was it worth it? Men who bought into the second household wage earner are no more guiltless.
Today women gather to talk about their genitalia, and consider themselves enlightened. No, girls, you are not. Women of stature, composure, morals and self-worth, did not achieve those states from soiling themselves in this manner.
I think it is great what women have achieved. I do not think all women should stay home. I do think one adult should when there are children in the home, and I don't care which.
Children need role models. It would be hard for me to imagine my mother or daughter engaging in the type of activity advocated by the writer of this play. I think they are both capable women who could, but I also believe they are two women who would see this endeavor for what it is, one of the ultimate debasements of self, that women can participate in.
Rape, assault, battery, child-abuse, are all very bad things that can happen to humans. Those are inflicted upon people. While I know that many women are ashamed when one of these things happens to them, I would submit that participating in the Vagina Monologues would be an exponentially worse thing to be ashamed of. Women who do so, volunteer to debase themselves on a level no man can.
The rapist sees a woman as an object. And here the writer and her minions second that opinion. They freely admit it, they are nothing more than a smiling vagina. Now, let's push for a holiday.
I should add, I think the writer did a nice job.

Pro-vagina? But are you as devoted as Bob?
"Turned out that Bob loved vaginas. He was a connoisseur. He loved the way they felt, the way they tasted, the way they smelled, but most importantly he loved the way they looked...He stayed looking for almost an hour as if he were studying a map, observing the moon, staring into my eyes, but it was my vagina. . . I began to swell, began to feel proud."

Thank you. You put into words why I feel uncomfortable about this play but couldn't quite explain. We humans are a whole lot more than genitials and sex.

Really didn't want to talk that way or even address which should've been "out there" somewhere. It's kinda like kerry in some ways. They want to pull us down to their level. Some things are Sacred however and how do I even say "the honor of my niece" or anything. They've successfully pulled it down low and hurt us and our future. I condemn them. I will work to defeat them.

Which brings me to another point. Ensler does not shy away from including very young children in her obsession. She says, on page 103, I asked a six-year-old girl: What does your vagina smell like? And Whats special about your vagina? To the second question, the little girl replied: Somewhere deep inside it I know it has a really smart brain. Enslers reported interviews are suspect. One finds it hard to believe that a first grader is talking about things that are somewhere deep inside. One finds it harder to believe that the girls parents would allow their six-year-old daughter to be interrogated about her vagina. Imagine a male counterpart to this story, a middle-aged man asking 6-year-old boys what was special about their penises. He would likely find himself on the local sex-offender registry. Anyone ever approaches my daughter and asks her what private areas smell like . . . I'd ask her what it feels like to have her teeth knocked in with a bat.

My submission for the Vagina Monolugues (speaking from my inner lesbian trapped in a man's body):
Why do you want me to talk about my vagina? Just because I CAN say something, doesn't mean I SHOULD say something. Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time.

"maybe they should try getting hung up on my private part"
Careful what you suggest, lest you get it. Consider what most of those things at such performances look like.

Women may think they're empowered by simply talking about their anatomy, but it is all baloney. Sexual or gender empowerment implies this has some effect on men, but real men could not care any less about this.
