If People watch CNN in Canada, does it impact the ratings in the US?

FOX is not allowed up here!!

Not if this is a temporary spike due to the Olympics. CNN's viewers could be watching Olympics, like most Americans.

I think that MBSNBC might be getting a bump due to their Swift Vet coverage. Even though Crissy Mathews tries his best to represent the DNC, guests like Pat Buchanon are clearly getting the better of the Kerry puppets.

Also, CNN has completly ignored the story and H&C switches to the Scott Peterson trial halfway during the show.

I actually like McEnroe`s show. It is so pathetic it is sometimes really funny.

Joe Scarborough was very good during the Demonrat convention , and I personally felt MSNBC`s coverage was better than the other cable networks.

This translates to:

FOX covers SwiftVets fair & balanced (#1)
MSNBC covers SwiftVets quite a bit but largely representative of Media Wing in Kerry campaign (#2)
CNN covers SwiftVets barely mostly focused on representing the Michael Moore-on Wing of the Kerry Campaign (#3)
CNBC doesn't cover SwiftVets at all & Jim Cramer attacks the president (#4)

Don't forget that CNN's Rick Kaplan (Friend of Bill Clinton) went from CNN to MSNBC. Everyone has noticed the sharp leftward jerk they have made in their programming. Even Scarborough has nice things to say about Kerry.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kaplan engineered this.

Looks like folks are having trouble finding CNBC.

Dennis Miller is on re-runs this week... His ratings are usually a 0.5. Other than Dennis Miller, CNBC is floundering.

BTW..Scarborough's got the best show..

Until he started licking Kerry's boots, I would have agreed with you. I am disappointed in Joe Scarborough's seemingly anti-bush statements of late.

"... Larry King is for old people"

Larry King is softball pitcher for subjects of social controversy who appear on his show solely to immunize themselves from detractors who claim they're avoiding the media:

King: "Osama bin Laden, what's your favorite salad dressing?"

Osama: "Larry, I like Russian or a nice Balsamic vinagrette on arugala..."

King: "Russian? I'd never have guessed! Now, what's your opinion on female Olympians representing Afghanistan? Is this a bad thing, as you see it?"

Osama: "Well, let me tell you Larry..."

Ha foxs top 3 outshines the totals of all other cable news outlets combines. I was dissapointed in Dennis Millers rating when I remembered half his shows have been re-runs since the DNC comvention and the Current olympics.

As I saw one movie with Adam Sandler after reviewing a kids book and tying it into modern day, the testers reply. "We are all more stupid now than we were before you began, you have single handendly dropped the IQ of the entire room" or something like that, but thats what I feel after having accidently watched a minute of it after Dennis Miller.

They would if CNBC did two things. Stop running re-runs and stop running re-runs, problem fixed ratings go up.

Flipping the channels last nite and saw McEnroe had Al Franken on. Franken was claiming that he had better radio ratings than O'Reilly during the same timeslot in NYC and Portland, Oregon.

Scarborough's show has improved since the Democratic Convention when Kerry made a fool out of him. Scarborough believed Kerry's military boasts, he dissed the Swifties, and ever since, it's as if Joe is on a mission to be fair, and make up for his blunders. One night Joe even acknowledged that he had been "duped". (I think Joe is embarrassed at his performance, sitting as a subserviant Chris Matthews panel member during the Dems convention. He got bullied by Andrea Mitchell, Mathews and Fineman.)

His show has been informative, fair, and he did not allow Kerry supporters to talk-over, shout, or interrupt. It's been remarkable television.

Joe's interview with Merrie Spaeth was incredible, and he's the only one who's gotten her on television. Spaeth completely destroyed the main attack Kerry has used, namely that Bush was involved in the Swifties' ad because of South Carolina in 2000.

Joe wisely used Pat Buchanan to speak for the Swifties because Pat had actually read the book, did his homework, and after initial skepticism, he too, had come to believe in the Swifties.

I missed a lot of that. He was on vacation for a week and then we were gone for two weeks and now he's been gone again. I was really ticked at how they hog-tied him in Boston. My husband and I had both started watching him regularly before that fiasco and they he started having Ron Reagan on all the time -- I finally sent him a letter to CAN the REAGAN Junior stuff... I do like Buchanan (without Bill Press)... he at least shows some spirit with some of the guests... did you catch Lawrence O'Donnel on there last night when they were discussing the Presidential ratings and the LA Times/Fox News results and he actually said: I work for NBC so I can only respond to THEIR polling results and those show Kerry in front: I thought Pat was going to choke!

The average age of Larry King's audience is deceased.

Rallying them to vote too I suppose.
