I'm told that now coming across the newswires is a new column from Bob Novak that contains extensive quotes from Retired Rear Adm. William L. Schachte Jr.
Schachte, call-sign "Batman," has broken his press silence to insist that he was indeed aboard the Boston Whaler or "skimmer" in the early morning mission on December 2, 1968, out of which Sen. John Kerry's first Purple Heart was awarded. Schachte maintains that Kerry's minor arm wound was not sustained while under enemy fire, but was indeed the result of Kerry — code-named "Robin" on this mission — being careless in firing an M-79 grenade launcher. Other officers are quoted to support the likelihood of Schachte's presence.

And I get the impression that the "October Surprise" hasn't even been sprung yet.

It's beginning to look like the Swift Boat Veterans for TRUTH - have set "the perfect ambush"...
The "target" Veterans showed themselves as weak bait......Kerry continued to lie, the "target" shouted out and fired a few rounds......Kerry charged in to finish them....
Then, the "target" became the hunter -- and Kerry is already too far into the ambush - taking fire from all compass points and can't fight his way through....He is now pinned down in his undefensable position with his lies..
They will finish Kerry on their own schedule and by their own means...
Revenge is a dish best served cold and in large quantity..
I will admit to loving these old men...I've never met them, but I now regard them as my own blood brothers...
I'm confident that our brothers that can no longer speak for themselves, to recover their reputations and honor -- approve of these brave Swift Boat Veterans....

Thia is delicious.... and an indication, along with the new ad today, that the swifties are not giving in to the MSM big lie that Kerry has successfully defended himself against the allegations while in Vietnam.
I haven't a clue as to how the MSM can even say such a thing, given the Cambodia lie and now this... not to mention the fact that Kerry's people "on background" are backpeddling and spinning by the hour. If this were the GOP candidate, there would be a media frenzy underway.
The MSM might want to move on, but the swifties are not gonna be pushed.

Not only was he only in country for four-months, he apparently was in at least two different Operations areas. He was a perennial "Newbie".

Do not underestimate the planning behind this. The Swifties have only fired the opening salvos. Fascinating to watch. I "almost" feel sorry for Kerry. He is going to need therapy and meds by the time this is over.
I kinda like the ring of that for the code-name of the 'Swifties' assault on the dim one.

Kewwy was an officer in command under training. Schachte berated Kewwy for almost putting someone's eye out.
