I'm told that now coming across the newswires is a new column from Bob Novak that contains extensive quotes from Retired Rear Adm. William L. Schachte Jr.
Schachte, call-sign "Batman," has broken his press silence to insist that he was indeed aboard the Boston Whaler or "skimmer" in the early morning mission on December 2, 1968, out of which Sen. John Kerry's first Purple Heart was awarded. Schachte maintains that Kerry's minor arm wound was not sustained while under enemy fire, but was indeed the result of Kerry — code-named "Robin" on this mission — being careless in firing an M-79 grenade launcher. Other officers are quoted to support the likelihood of Schachte's presence.
I'll update this post when I can find the full Novak column online.
Update: I've slightly edited my original post; in the advance version I've read, the Novak column is silent on the question of whether Kerry was under enemy fire when he caused his own minor wound. I don't want to overstate or overpromise.

Kerry calling a lie "God's honest truth" is really pushing it. He's only saying that because he thinks God can't defend Himself in the media. As far as I'm concerned though, these SwiftVets are doing God's work in exposing this scoundrel who's actions led to millions of civilian deaths in SE Asia after he helped ensure our political failure in the war.

Yep, and it's obvious that Kerry doesn't have any core platforms anyway. The DemonRat spin machine is helping Kerry along on his path of self-destruction. Even the Democrats are complaining about it. At my work, the die-hard libs are asking why the hell did the DNC pick this guy. The news media is doing everything possible to prop up this clown and they're still failing miserably.

I am bothered by the fact that there were not indictments of these people with all the data the FBI apparently had.
Seems to me there should be alot of prison time handed out- Kerry and Fonda at the head of the list.
