A protestor identified as Terra Lawson-Remer (upper right) lowers herself to a waiting police officer after she helped unfurl a banner on the facade of the Plaza Hotel in New York on August 26, 2004. The 60-foot banner, with the words 'Truth' and 'Bush', was said to be critical of the Bush/Cheney administration's poor record of leadership. Two members of a protest group called Operation Sibyl rappelled down the facade to unfurl the banner. The Republican National Convention starts in New York on August 30. REUTERS/Peter Morgan

For all their trouble, it wasn't even that good of a sign.
And so it begins!
All that trouble for a banner that makes no sense .....
Should have just cut her rope.
Ah yes...the party of peace and traquility strikes again.
3 words....... CUT THE ROPE
Right down the block from where I said I saw the rogues. And CNN just happened to have two trucks set up there.
And they don't even know enough to realize that Truth is a Three-edged Sword. . .
(additional gratuitous B-5 reference)
If the imbecile was trying to convey the concept that Bush is a liar, maybe her banner should have said so.
I hear she is going to unfurl a banner stating "KERRY LIAR" to indicate that Kerry is not a liar.
If you count all their personalities there may be more involved here. :-)
Good point. If you were given an assignment at your job,and did no better than they did at this, well, you wouldn't have a job for long.Maybe the old saying needs to be revised to "Those that can't do,protest."
File under: Never Trust Anyone With a Hyphenated Name
That's all they could come up with? Someone should fire their creative director.
Get a job.
These guys put her up to it, I'm sure of it!
Interesting, Truth points toward Central Park, while Bush points down Fifth Avenue. I guess you have to know Manhattan to get it.
