Amnesty International today (24 August 2004) expressed its outrage at the reported execution of a girl believed to be 16 years old for “acts incompatible with chastity”. Ateqeh Rajabi was reportedly publicly hanged on a street in the city centre of Neka, northern Iran, on 15 August 2004.

it was an illegal execution. she spoke back to the judge, who then lied about her age (said she was 22) to get the execution approved and then he personally put the rope around her neck.

i, myself, would love to spend some time alone with this 'judge' and a ball-peen hammer but the best we can hope for is that he loses his job now the execution is being so widely promoted.
