The Russians, so far, have emphatically denied that this is a result of terrorism. O.K. Put your Achems Razor hat on for a minute. All things being equal the most logical is correct. You are to tell me that two aircraft are going to crash almost simultaneously? The Russians! Some habits are hard to break!

The guy at the corner market (seriously) said he heard that when the first plane went down it took out the second plane because it was in the crash path or something. I have yet to hear that anywhere else, but I suppose it could happen.
Doesn't explain what happened to the first plane, tho.

Putin was KGB higher up. You'll be lucky to get any truthfulness from this comrade.

As interesting will be to see how the american media treats this if the russians do deny anything bad happening, just accidents, etc.
I think some freepers greatly underestimate the ability of the media to doggedly tell a huge lie and stick to it, marginalizing all contradictory views. Given world events and the impending election in chechnya, if anyone here is able to 90% believe that these two crashes were accidents no matter what fantastic explanations are offered, they are more trusting than me.

I can't blame the Russians for wanting to cover this up. It would not only devastate their young economy, but have a rippling effect thru the rest of the airline industry.....looks like another TWA Flight 800 in the making.........

These events could be the result of terrorism, or poor aircraft maintenance by the Rooskies. Tough to tell at this point.

If it was terror and nobody claims to have committed it, then it won't serve its' purpose. So if we hear nothing over the next couple days, it probably was an accident. That's my reasoning, but I may be all wet too.....

If it's terrorism, doesn't one or more Muslim groups eventually claim 'credit' for it?

I suspect terrorism too, but I can remember a few years ago when at least one US Air Force plane crashed everyday for several days straight.

The Russians, so far, have emphatically denied that this is a result of terrorism. I haven't heard that. So far, they have said that they have no evidence that it is terrorism, but they haven't ruled it out. That seems reasonable.
