You forgot to mention that 87% of the 527's money has been spent by the MoveOn.org allied forces!

American Spectator says Kerry was calling up 60 Minutes to go on Sunday to address the issue before the GOP convention.

As if he would address the issue. All he would do is pull out NYT and other articles, lie that the Bush campaign was behind "the lies that the Swift Boat Veterans" are making, etc. I have to give them props, 60 Minutes is good at presenting one side of a two sided story.

That means that his internal polling is showing really bad things.. I certainly hope so. Read the tea leaves. No real convention bounce and 2.5 million sends you screaming to phone your opponents. Sounds like a very serious meltdown in progress.

The Kerry campaign is Wile E. Coyote personified.

I can see lots of cartoons on that theme. It is perfect!

"American Spectator says Kerry was calling up 60 Minutes to go on Sunday to address the issue before the GOP convention.

No doubt thats whats happening. Kerry's lost a significant part of the meager share of military votes he thought was coming, and that alone bodes ill for him in a close race.

I don't think at this point any further damage to Kerry will be realized by additional SB vet ad's at this point.

Whats damaging Kerry now is how he is reacting to this "crisis". Thats whats killing him today, and will continue to do so for the next few days or weeks.

When it gets tough, Kerry becomes FRENCH like.....(grin)

Cool - maybe Bush can ask Rasmann if it was a mine or a rice bin that punctured Kerry's butt ? ... and how come Kerry's arm was not bleeding ?

I hope they reference KERRY's comments questioning the service of GWB - Nov 5th, 2000 - trying to help Gore. The best weapon against Kerry is, most often, his own words.

I've been waiting and waiting for someone to bring it up, and I hope somone finally does.

Look it up. Spread the word. JFKerry HIMSELF attacked the service of President Bush in a political speech for AlGore. Maybe THAT's why he refuses to denounce MoveOn and MM - they are parroting words that have crossed his own lips - publicly - on the record - and for poltical purposes.

Too bad for Kerry that his ego made him make the 37-minute statement about 9/11.
The way the Dems are in meltdown I would expect them to run a "My Pet Goat" ad next week.
They still probably will.

Maybe Laura can send some of her famous chocolate chip cookies back with them--that is if they don't catch her so off guard she doesn't have time to bake up a couple of dozen.

I agree, I had always felt that the second ad is more compelling then the first - which has sort of deteriorated into a "I said, they said" kind of thing now.
