McCain also dissed the POW Families which I will never forget nor forgive. And he also trashed the Swifties for going after Kerry. I have never understood his making peace with Kerry -- makes no sense.
When Sen Dole spoke out against Kerry, McCain should have been doing the same thing IMHO.
I don't give McCain a free pass when it comes to POW Families and other Veterans when he chooses sides with Kerry -- BTW, someone just told me he is traveling with the Clintons!

I agree. McCain does not have a right to diss Swifties or POW families. I was not aware that he had done that.

"And he also trashed the Swifties for going after Kerry. I have never understood his making peace with Kerry -- makes no sense."IMO, he was broken by the VNC and Kerry being an honorary one of them...well, it's something similar to Stockholm Syndrome. I don't think McCain can help tagging around after Kerry like an overgrown poodle afraid his master is going to kick him if he doesn't blindly obey.

McCain is a RINO and Kerry is a traitor. To elect Kerry is a huge, HUGE mistake on the part of American citizens. I think something I said earlier on during a discussion about the youth of today applies very well at this juncture. "I don't think that the youth of today have enough spine to see this war through to its end." Well, I believe that the American public (more specifically the liberal leftists) have undermined the moral fabric of this society enough to take away any backbone for a protracted fight.
I sure hope that this Colonel's statement gets national publicity.
