Bring up something that nobody cared about then or nowTo be fair, it is topical as a report was issued on the matter yesterday. I would expect any presidential candidate to comment on it. I correctly predicted Kerry's reaction would be to call for Rumsfeld's head.
Of course the report once again found that what the Bush administration had represented was indeed the state of affairs, and the accusations and allegations from the dems and carried forth by the willing media were false.

very true and well put! even if it started today, by the time the resignation went anywhere the election will be over
I wonder if Kerry will testify before the U.N. about Rumsfeld/American "war crimes"? (when he loses in Nov)

If I was Bush, I would ask the reporters to come in and get the entire exchange on tape.
That would keep Cleland and Kerry from misconstruing what actually happens.
(Actually, if I were Bush, I'd send somebody out to tell him to KMA, but that's just me.)

Probably the next thing he will do is make a deal for Saddams release. Who is the Democrat lawyer for Saddam?

Rumsfeld should say: "Senator Kerry has admitted to personally committing war crimes, yet he feels qualified to become president of the United States. Now he wants me to resign because of illegal actions taken by some soldiers in Iraq. Senator Kerry, I will resign the day that you withdraw from the race."

He's having to spend money and time defending his qualifications for CIC..4 months in a swift boat..Wonder why he he is so qualified and Swiftboat Veterans for Truth are so unqualified to at least give an opinion of his "qualifications??
..Why is picking up a grenade you assume you dropped and having it explode qualification for confronting the President?
What's attractive about "cryin' to daddy, make them stop it"?

admitted War Criminal John Kerry is asking for Donald Rumsfeld to resign over the Abu Gharab flap.Kerry: My campaign is sinking fast. Quick, somebody find me some straws to grasp at!
Intern: Well, sir, there's always the old 'Abu Ghraib' prisoner abuse scandal. Maybe we could get you to testify before Congress about war crimes committed by the troops and permitted by the administration?
Kerry: Just like the good old days! I like it!

This seems big to me:
And as for suggestions that Rumsfeld should step down, Schlesinger declared: "His resignation would be a boon to all of America's enemies."...
So Schlesinger states that Rumsfeld's resignation would hurt America and Kerry immediately calls for said resignation. This man HATES America!

I got naseaus when I heard the cheers Kerry got when he called for Rumsfeld's resignation. What is the matter with these people? They just want power. Nothing else matters.
