I must admit that I was shocked to see the following words attributed to actor-rapper Will Smith, responding to a question of whether 9-11 had changed anything for him:
"No. Absolutely not. When you grow up black in America you have a completely different view of the world than white Americans. We blacks live with a constant feeling of unease. And whether you are wounded in an attack by a racist cop or in a terrorist attack, I'm sorry, it makes no difference."
You cannot get much more hypocritical than that. Smith's evident contempt for America is baffling. He is apparently thankless for the opportunities America has given him to be free, work hard and succeed.

You have made some interesting points. History is not exactly old news though when coming to casting roles in hollywood. They do typecast. I do not know the percentage of black actors, but each and every one has a story of directors saying 'we can't have a black in that role' or some sort. That is my opinion on it.
They typecast whites too don't they? Would they cast a white guy to play MLK?
I am not referring to historical figures. I am talking about typecasting, as in casting a person in a role they believe that particular ethnicity belongs in. Hollywood claims to be liberal and respectful of liberal democrat ideals but they most certainly are not. Think about it. Hollywood mirrors the democrat party that most hollywood personalities are members of. I would also add they are a bit schizophrenic and hypocritical but sounds a bit redundant.
Nope. That's street sweeping the democrat trash. Besides his natty dreads look like they need a little caretaking.
OH MY FRICKING GOD...LOL! HEHEHEHEHEHE
