A Swift (& deadly) response [Dims Going After Swiftees]

Sen. John Kerry called a member of the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth over the weekend to try to reason with him over the group's attacks on his record. But fellow Democrats aren't hesitating to try far more aggressive tactics.

A group of Democratic loyalists is compiling incriminating dossiers on the members of the veteran group - and they sent us a preview of what might be in store for Swift Boat activist James Zumwalt, son of illustrious Adm. Elmo Zumwalt - and it isn't pretty.

Zumwalt "attempted to kill himself with an overdose of prescription drugs," after the murder of his ex-wife's fiance, John Kowalczyk, according to the dossier, which is footnoted to news sources, and was "convicted of reckless driving after chasing Kowalczyk at a high speed on the highway."

Zumwalt stepped into the line of fire when he testified with the controversial Swift vets at the National Press Club in Washington last May.

I am no election law expert but merely calling I think would not be a violation. If Kerry asked him his motivations for joining SBV that would not be coordination. Now if they talked about where the ads were running that would be getting closer. I heard ED on Fox and Friends claiming it was illegal for Bush to ask SBV to stop running the ads as that would be "coordination". But a guy from the FEC (or formerly from the FEC) said last night on Brit Hume's show that it is not coordination to talk about "not doing something."

This is the behavior the Dims thrive on -- and expect from a campaign -- in the post-Clinton era. He and his enablers were the masters of the game. Many of Slick's former staffers are knee-deep in this cesspool of sliming the Swifties,...

You know, that is exactly true. But there is now a dynamic in play that ANGERED me so very much during the reign of 'Toon: that is, that the great masses of people did not realize or believe that the Demodogs' and the 'Toon's political machine was continuously sliming their opponents. Relatively few Americans actually believe the depths that they went to in order to defame detractors. Those of us who really paid attention to how they dealt with Ken Starr, K.Wiley, and others and were so very angry about that understand what can happen.

Many, many Demodogs don't realize, or didn't believe it, and quite a few of them are vets --- and NOW those same folks are, in good conscience, making an attempt to shine the light of truth on a man they consider unfit to be president. They are going to be surprised at the venom that will be poured out by that machine - and I mean, they are going to be blindsided. That is going to be a revelation to them, and it is going to cause many to see the light of what the Demodog Party has now become.

I suddenly have become happy that they hid the sliming of their political opponents. This time, it is going to be obvious to very many.

It looks to me, kerry and his campaign advisors and goons are pulling a hitler kind of putsch. They are a dispicable lot.

Interesting chat with a pal who retired on disability from USN. Served in Viet Nam w/ Kerry on swift boats as enlisted man. Called him a lying SOB who fabricated after action reports. They called him JFK then and knew he had presidential ambitions. While going ashore with Kerry to a bunker this enlisted man was hit suffering grenade fragments in his arms and legs. He was medically retired from USN. Although he tried to contact Swift Vets once on EMail, he has decided to stay out the frey. He is happy on the farm.

I think we could be certain as long ago as a week, when instead of completely ignoring the SwiftVets the Demodogs team started working to suppress their message, that the internal polls are showing this to be a very effective counter to sKerry's "Elect me because I'm a hero" campaign.

I would love to know exactly what their internals are showing.

Their plan, abetted by the sycophant media, is to ignore the SBV charges, attack the SBV's for having the temerity to attack Kerry, cast aspersions to the SBV's (Bush sponsored smear campaign, backed by VRWC, etc.), and character assassinate the SBV's. IMO, none of this Will work. The quiet honor of the SBV's will prevail over the shrillness of Kerry and the Dims. In the end, it's about good vs the beast.
