Now there's an idea for the 2008 Olympic games! The "pole dancing" contest could be held next to the beer drinking competition.

This might be fun to watch, but it most definitely is NOT a sport.

It's not eye candy either..IMO.

If male athletes dressed as briefly as the women, I might actually watch the Olympics someday.

List all of the sports in the Olympics. Beach volleyball will fall about in the middle.

Count me in as one who recognizes that Beach Volleyball is a tough sport.

Some Olympic "sports" that should not be there (IMHO) are:

Synchronized anything
Floor Gymnastics where they twirl the little strings (have not seen it this year, thankfully)
Curling (winter game Bowling with brooms)

And one tough sport that should be eliminated:

Girls wrestling. (yeah, go ahead, give me hell for that, but girls wrestling for sport is weird).

You ever played? It is very tough running around on sand and playing volleyball at the same time with just 2 people.

Volleyball is a great sport to play or watch. I'm sorry this aspect of it gets all the attention.
