You should have posted that this was a SPOILER thread. The match hasn't run on the West coast yet. Thanks a lot.

pantload..

you have been slinging personal barbs from your first post on this thread. What a laugh you are.

I called you moron because you were calling others such.. if only by inference, moron.

You obviously lack the comprehension skills to deduct my first post was about your stupid defense of the volley-thongs. You said they were for utility reasons.. then when called on it by the poster, you said it was for tradition. What a dope. Make up your mind.

"Trying to say tighter and less clothes for the women is funtional, and long baggy clothes for the guys is funtional (when it is NOT funtional because they get a foul for their baggy shirt touching the net) makes your position LOOK AND SOUND MORONIC!"

Once again you ignore my point and try to grab the one thing you can twist until it supports your position. Your debating skill are extremely shallow and pathetic. It's like you're taking a page from the moveon.org guide book on how to twist the truth.

Here's the point again. True or not?

What most men wear on the beach == what most men wear playing beach volleyball
What most women wear on the beach == what most women wear playing beach volleyball.

Is the above true or not?

Maybe one day men will switch to unitards or bikini briefs on the volleyball court, and it will spark a trend where hordes of american males will suddenly decide to dress like them. And they'll say, hey, this is better for playing volleyball. But right now it's not. Each sex wears what is appropriate beach wear for their sport.

So are you a man or a woman? Just wondering, becuase your perspective seems to be that of a woman who never had to worry about wearing a jock strap.

BS. I attacked their positions. You attacked me personally. There's a difference if you can't tell it.

They were making an argument. They should be prepared for having that argument and the thought process behind it challenged. Otherwise they should post it on the board.

What I didn't do, and what you did do, is lash out and call them morons. Or idiots. Or dopes. All personal attacks you made.

It is a sport that includes running, jumping, sweating, hitting a ball, teamwork and the scoring is not subjective.

Just an obscure sport until this olympics. Let's see if NBC picks up the beach volley ball tour for next season.

Maybe the Fox News babes could start doing their spots in beach volleyball outfits. Viewership might go higher.

Yes, that running away and refusing to answer the question sure makes you look like you won the debate on points.

Okay folks, the US Olympic Team can surely afford more fabric than THAT. Seriously, is this necessary?

Tough. Deal with it.

Calling posters remarks "dumbest", "if you had a clue", or saying "Anybody who tries to dispute that just looks moronic" is personal no matter what warped reasoning passes for logic in your strange world.

If you had been nice others would have been nice back.

You don't want to get hammered, put away the ball-peen.

Is Misty May her real name?

Or just her pole dancing volley ball name?

I attack the comments. You attack the poster.

If someone makes a dumb comment, I'm going to call it a dumb comment. Their comments don't get a free pass. I'm not going to call them an idiot or moron like you like to.

I've refrained from personally attacking you out of respect for the rules of this board. Trust me, it has nothing to do wtih respect for you, because I have none for you.

Apparently you don't respect the rules or you feel you are above them.

Dumbbunny..

You are a joke and do not respect the rules of this board or anything else. You have been attacking people period. To say different makes you a liar or clueless or both.

You said:

"Anybody who thinks beach volleyball isn't a sport is a moron. Period"

So you have called anybody (and there have been several) who holds the opinion BVB is not a sport.. "a MORON. PERIOD

You are a clintonistic liar. You can deny all you want. Those reading your posts know better.

Oh.. and you did zing me (not that I care):

"I was calling people who don't think beach volleyball is a sport morons" .... "And anybody who would call me an idiot because they couldn't manage to read a single sentence that pertained solely to the sport and comprehend the meaning falls into that same category as them"

Yep. Liar.

I just saw that on TV out here in Cali. Even more interesting on the tube. The pic doesn't do what happened justice.

These gals held hands during the National Anthem. And they couldn't keep their hands off each other during post-game interviews. And they just referred to each other as "partners."

Vedddy interesting. . . .

Everytime I turn Beach VB on there's much butt-slappin' going on. I haven't seen so many women touching each other since my girlfriend coaxed me into a WNBA game.

Yah.. but it must have some "traditional" utilitarian use like the glaring butt in the photo. Wonder what athletic advantage the "traditional" do-me lower-back tatoo has.
