So? The numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 have never been picked in the lottery...but they could be. Lets wait until there is some solid news.

The second plane has been missing for about an hour now. Two planes down almost simultaneously -- I think it's safe to assume this is no coincidence.
To: COEXERJ145
However when a second plane come flying in at close to 600 mph and slams into one of the towers, it is not going to be an accident and a terrorist attack is the only possibility. Not if, for example, a mad scientist was trying out a new giant high-powered magnet... There's ALWAYS other possibilities. SOme, however, are not realistic ones... that's all I'm sayin'

I swear some of you people are just totally stupid when it comes to aviation. Try studying the history of aviation crashes before spouting off the standard tinfoil hat lines that permeate this forum.

The Tupolev Tu-154 has a range of 3400-3900 km (2100-2400 mi) at maximum occupancy & fuel. FRom earlier post. FLight had flown 500KM when it dissappeared, so it theoretically could fly another 1500-2000 KM.
FYI - AThens is approx 1600KM from last known position.

Maybe if you were being less of a ****, "us people" would actually learn stuff from you. But, that would require a change on YOUR part.
Think about it.

The second plane has been missing for about an hour now.We heard or thought we heard three hours. But either way, if that aircraft dropped off the radar an hour ago, my bet is they'd have a lock on it if it were still in the air.

Why don't you give this up? What do you hope to gain by staying so combative?
Since the beginning of this thread you have been arguing with someone. We get it. You know something about aviation.
That's very nice for you. But you just might be wrong this time.

But Dreyfus already disappeared and took that weapon with him.

Shep did mention DHS is keeping a close eye on this. They should be doing more than "keeping an eye on it." Mafia-controlled theft rings operate among the corrupt union rampers at New York airports. It would take more than a case of vodka to bribe your way into the baggage area, but nothing that would strain OBL's wallet.

Agree. Again, I'd be very surprised if this wasn't a terrorist act.

I guess it's safe to assume that the second plane crashed as well? I would think that with all of the sophisticated equipment in the world, someone would know if it were still flying.

Question:
How many US airports have bomb detection devices for checked luggage now??
I know they had a deadline for this, but when was it and was it met?
