Chechan Muslim Terrorists in Moscow ground crew. Bombs set to go off at exactly 8 hours after take-off. That is my OPINION. Which is worth 2 1/2 cents.

Two Russian passenger planes 'missing'

Russian air controllers have lost contact with an airplane carrying 44, the Interfax news agency has reported.

It quoted the Emergencies Ministry as saying contact with a Tu-154 flying from Moscow to the Black Sea resort of Sochi was lost at 1900 GMT, when it was expected to be 140 kilometres from the southern city of Rostov-on-Don.

Earlier, the Itar-Tass news agency said that at about the same time another Russian airliner with 34 passengers and eight crew on board crashed south of Moscow.

The Tu-134 aircraft was en route to Russia's southern city of Volgograd when it disappeared off radar screens, emergency officials said.

Local policemen later found the crashed airplane near the village of Buchalki in Tula region, officials said, adding that local rescue services had already rushed to the site.

The fate of passengers and crew was unclear.

"Weather could be another possibility. There are all sort of things that could be possibilities. However, the odds of two airliners taking off from the same airport, then having accidents leading to crashes within a short time of each other several hundred miles apart are astronomical."

I agree, but everyone's jumping to the conclusion that they have the answer when they don't even have any hard facts. Let's take a stroll through what we know so far - as per posts to this thread:

In other words, no one knows what's going on yet, which is what I said originally. :-)

Tin-foil hat time:

I remember reading in assorted articles, papers and analysis that the "Next 9/11" would occur ~60 days prior to the election and that it would be preceeded by attacks in Europe. Anyone else remember this (I didn't think to book-mark them unfortunately).

Consider my mind bent.

Thanks.

I don't know if it's related, but this thread makes it sound like civil war could break out soon.

Guys, if both planes are indeed down, two planes going down within 10 minutes of each other in disparate geographic locations means it is exceedingly unlikely that it was not intentional.

"No evidence of terrorism."

Which, of course, is as silly as those that are already CONVINCED that this is terrorism.

TU-134 = Basically same as short DC-9
TU-154 = 727ovitch.

TU-154 behind me. Sure didn't feel like a 727 in flight, though.

Hahahaha
You don't decide who or what I am.
If you can't have a civil discussion with out making personal attacks, why don't you take a break?
And btw it was easy to see you believe the fuel tank reasoning for 800.
Did you REALLY think you had to tell me that?
You are entertaining.
Thanks.
