John Kerry told the world we were war criminals who raped, tortured and murdered in Vietnam. Now, thirty-three years later, we will tell America the truth. Join us at the rally we call:
"Kerry Lied . . . While Good Men Died"
What: A peaceful remembrance of those with whom we served in Vietnam - those who lived and those who died.
We will tell the story of their virtues and how that contrasts with the lies told by John Kerry.
When: Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004 @ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDT
Where: Washington, DC(Upper Senate Park, between the Capitol and Union Station)
All Vietnam veterans and their families and supporters are asked to attend. Other veterans are invited as honored guests.
This will be a peaceful event--no shouting or contact with others with different opinions. We fought for their rights then, and we respect their rights now. This is NOT a Republican or a pro-Bush rally. Democrats, Republicans and independents alike are warmly invited. Our gathering is to remember those with whom we served, thereby giving the lie to John Kerry's smear against a generation of fine young men.
B.G. "Jug" Burkett, author of "Stolen Valor," will be one of our speakers. Jug has debunked countless impostors who falsely claimed to be Vietnam veterans or who falsely claimed awards for heroism. Jug recommends that we refrain from dragging fatigues out of mothballs. Dress like America, like you do every day. Dress code: business casual, nice slacks, and shirt and shoes. No uniform remnants, please. Unit hats OK.
Selected members will wear badges identifying them as authorized to speak to the media about our event. Others who speak to the media will speak only for themselves.
The program will be controlled in an attempt to stay on-message. Speakers are encouraged not to engage in speculative criticism of John Kerry but (1) to stick to known and undisputed facts about John Kerry’s lies while (2) reminding America of the true honor and courage of our brothers in battle in Vietnam.

"Phony Vietnam veterans alleged in books
Guenter Lewy's 1978 book America in Vietnam (pages 316-317) and B.G. Burkett and Glenna Whitley's Stolen Valor (Verity Press, Inc., Dallas, Texas)(pages 113, 131-137) contain similar information about alleged flaws in Lane's book. Neither book, however, refutes any of the testimony given during the Winter Soldier Investigation.
Lawyer and leftist activist Mark Lane was one of the organizers of Winter Soldier. In 1970, Lane had published a book called Conversations With Americans purporting to be interviews with Vietnam veterans about war crimes, containing Vietnam tales of atrocities. Reporter Neil Sheehan showed some interviewed in Lane's book had never served in Vietnam and others had not been in the situations they described. Lane admitted he did not check military records, as confirmation of details was not relevant. Lane later confirmed these militarty records.
The following are often falsely listed as being participants in Winter Soldier, but were actually in Lane's book instead. This confusion is probably due to Stolen Valor having an explanation of Lane's history within the section on Winter Soldier.
Chuck Onan, stock room clerk in Beaufort, S.C.
Michael Schneider, deserted in Europe and deserted again in the USA.
Terry Whitmore, was in an unpopulated area of Vietnam.
Garry Gianninoto, medical corpsman at battalion headquarters.
VVAW leader and Winter Soldier co-organizer Al Hubbard lied about being an officer, and sustaining war injuries - but he never testified at Winter Soldier .
According to the investigative work of Burkett, Lewy and others, there were many imposters, liars, and plain nutjobs who infiltrated the ranks of the anti-war movement, and, in some cases, testified to war crimes and atrocities that never occurred in order to get attention, sympathy, and, in one documented case, medals and honors."

Print up hundreds of c. 12-16" x 3" strips of paper with UNFIT FOR COMMAND printed on them.
Then glue them on every Kerry/Edwards poster, sign etc you can find using common wallpaper paste.
Some friends did this to thousands of anti-war posters and signs advertising a huge NYC rally sponsored by Marxists a few days before the event back in 1984. But our strips simply said in RED & white lettering CANCELLED!
Boy, were those leftists furious, but they could never figure out who had spoiled their turnout.
J F'n Kerry has ruffled the wrong feathers. Viet Vets, as with vets of times past, are proud of their service and loving of their memories of their comrades. Any person who casts aspersions on those memories does so at their own peril. J F'n's time has come to answer for his lies.
So it's time to fill up the van!
I am an "era" vet. I have no problem standing with my brothers and sisters who actually went to Viet Nam. According to the plans for rally posted, "all vets are invited". It is important that we honor their request to dress appropriately.
"Rag-tag military dress" could only reflect badly on the rally and bring back bad memories to everybody. Let's just make sure this is a "Million Vets" rally!!!!!!

Sounds great! I don't know about rag tag, but I am wearing my Marine Green USMC Tee Shirt or Sweat shirt (depending on the weather) and a Scarlet/Gold USMC ball cap. Hell, I might even shave! ;-)

The public needs to realize three things about the Kerry:
1) The claims about war crimes are true in which case he was an active participant.
2) The claims are knowlingly false and he lied during his congressional testimony.
3) The claims are false and he lied during his congressional testimony, but he believes them to be true. In which case he is a certifiable nutcase.
Irregardless.....He's "Unfit for Command".
I have another commitment that day but I'm going to see if I can work out the logistics. You going?
