I haven't heard much news today...some kerry-bots did go to the President's ranch today to give him a letter that basically insisted GWB denounce the swiftboat vets! Can you believe that? Of course he didn't see them, ha! I can imagine that look he'd give them...

That can be the only thing he's thinking, because (how you said), he can't go on anything else, like his Senate record. It's just so bad how he's demeaning these vets like he did 30 years ago and at the same time he's demanding that GWB respect his own service. And of course GWB has, on more than one occasion, praised kerry's service.
And no one has ever thanked GWB for his own service!
I just hope Kerry's flip flopping which often appear as lies will make the American undecided vote turn to Bush/Cheney ticket
