The President met with members of his Security Council and others, at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. After the meeting, he held a press opportunity, and then provided lunch for the press and cameramen attending.
That would be such an honor! We pray for him every day anyway, but WOW, to be in the same room. We got to pray with him at the Ohio State graduation a phew years ago, and say the Pledge of Allegiance with him. That was cool!
We're flying into DC on Friday morning (by about 10:30), we don't have solid plans, but we're thinking of going to see the WWII Memorial and a museum or two.
Let me know if you want to meet us and be a "tourist"!

I'm a nurse, and my family is very "un" medical. My own parents have scared me with their medical mis-knowledge, so I guess I'm a little bit nervous about it sometimes! HAHA--I'll have to not be quite so nervous! :-)
Did you see the book criticizing JFK's swiftboat experience is selling out all over! I love it!
Yes, silly me, about the Ebola. As I just posted, my own family is very un-informed about medical issues, and my own parents have scared me several times with their mis-knowledge.
One time my dad was put on two high BP meds . . . but decided to stop taking them. WHY? Just because. He went to the dr. a few weeks later and the dr. said he better start them again. THey still won't tell me how high his BP was.
Good evening
That is the one good thing about my dad he moans about but he always takes his medication.
Good afternoon! It is so fun to "talk" with someone across the ocean.
My MIL was in Europe--don't remember exactly where--on Sept. 11th. She rememebers hearing about it and how paniced some of the members on her tour group were. She vividly remembers the next day (I think) there was a moment of silence and I think everyone sang the Star-Spangled Banner.
