I think you are correct that EPO would be more of an endurance drug.

It's strange that a 25YO would 'come out of nowhere' to win Olympic gold... but kudos to her if it's legit. I mean, REAL kudos, since, a propos of this article, you rarely see fair-skinned types in the 100m, men or women.

We all know the Eastern Blocs dominance in the Olympics was drug enhanced.

Then there was the case of all those Chinese swimmers smashing every record by huge margins...all those results were thrown out.

From an athlete's perspective, wouldn't the win mean less if you knew you won by doping?
